Is anybody waiting till spring to order their car? Since ordered cars are probably not going to arrive till mid September maybe early October is anybody holding off. I live in Chicago and winter would be only 2 months away. I would have no time to have fun with the car before I have to throw winter tires on. But then again I don't know if I can wait another 5 months and keep my sanity.:frusty:
Just curious if anybody is thinking the same.

Edit:
Just noticed wrong section:doh:

Two months of fun is better than 5 months of watching YouTube videos....

Im waiting till February to order, I want to get it as close to April as possible, since it will be my 50th birthday, hence why I want the 50th Appearance package, Plus my current car will be paid off.

I'll be ordering a convertible in the spring. Maybe as early as February or when I get my other bills sorted out.

I will be waiting until spring/summer of 2015. That will give it time to:

Have incentives on the 2015 - I would assume you could bleed off as much as 5k of depreciation if you wait until next spring with incentives discounts.
Know what the SVT can do and cost
Know what the color options/power options are for 2016 for GT
See what bugs are in the 2015
Know what is coming out in 2016 (competition)

I'm waiting until spring. I'm going to get 1 more winter out of the snow tires I bought for my FRS. Plus it will be paid off by then and I will have at least 6 months before I have to worry about buying new winter wheels/tires.

I plan on ordering in February or March and hopefully picking up in April or May.

I plan to wait at least a little bit. I'm not sure how long.

I want to see some long term reviews (at least a couple months), and let the factory get into a groove building them, and see if any problems show up in the early cars.

I am interested in either the V6 or the EB. I like the V6 a lot but I'm not sure what to expect from the EB. So I'll wait to see how the two compare in the reviews.

I am also hoping for incentives after the initial rush dies down (maybe over the winter here in the snow belt).

Another reason I don't want to wait is because I don't want to put anymore money in my current car. I need brakes and another set of winter tires. My all season are worn and my current winter tires are almost done. I rather put that money into a good set of winter tires and wheels for the 15'.
