I would love to join in, I've been to a few c&c but have not been lately... unfortunately 2 days ago and Rav4 tried to rape my Mustang up the butt... all on dash cam, front and rear cam. January 4 is when mine finally goes in for repairs... waiting on confirmations from their insurance...
Brought mine in for exhaust rattle.. replacing the entire cat back system, the resonator went south.... progressively getting worse. Dealer ordered new system which I will be replace a little later with the Borla stype 3" cat backs
What climate are you driving in? October month up till now the tires should not be driven on in less than 40 degrees F. If you do, your tires will experience abnormal wear like a power wheels driving on a hard pavement. Chewing up the tires like rubbing hard plastic to pavement. I avoided...
Turbo and any engine benefits from a warm up... manual transmission... also becomes more efficient at operating temperature. The MT seems notchy and "slippy" until it warms up. Your engine will benefit from the warm up before driving which I often wait until the engine drops to a normal idle...
It's not debris... Definitely mechanical... I do know those tires pick alot of stuff as they are definitely sticky but I am creeping into the driveway and the take offs I hear the popping sounds... beginning to think it is the Torsen diffs making the sound and it's radiating it to the front but...
I found a few vids but now I also found that Borla had a 3 inch stype... pn 140629 wondering if it's ok to install with stock headers and cat that is a 2.5 inch... Borla included the 2 nipples to install to stock as well as the tube extensions for the borla headers which will make it a true 3...
Borla s type I noticed is 300 cheaper than the ford racing but I am not sure what the difference is between the two since they are both borla and the ford racing one to my understanding, is the same as the s type
Took the mustang for a roundabout in the neighborhood during a break from the rain yesterday... this kid about 5 years old driving a power wheels says as I drive by... hey mommy there's a mustang, its a GT and it is a five point oh... made me want to stop and say hello but I know where they...
Mixed driving city hwy and very spirited after 5800 miles the total average mpg I am getting is 18.3. Not too bad considering.... San Antonio trip in a month should bump the average up hopefully the weather is good 3rd week of June
Next project is claybar... the Orange peel effect of the factory paint job just hit me looking at a blurred speckled reflection of my truck off the mustang
I am a little late but got my UPR 4 stage catch can installed about 500 miles ago (properly) mustang now has a total of 5800 miles and really shocked at the amount of oil that has been caught... 1.5 tablespoons of oil..... any person that does get the catch can.... this one comes highly...
I've been getting about 19 to almost 22mpg mixed driving on my pp.... using that sixth gear coasting in 40mph and up is a huge difference though have to down shift for some hills..... almost 4500 miles and seems like the mpg is getting better..... I also used zmax engine treatment
@4100 miles... ive been able to get anywhere from 19 to 21mpg mixed hwy and city... not bad at all.... have not had long enough trip to really see better than 22 yet
