You guys crack me up. Yes, I have a lift and all the tools to do my own work. Quite frankly I feel like fuel is the most expensive part on this car.

I've been through 3 sets of tires and brake pads on this car and have a 2nd track car (Boss 302) that gets a majority of the track time. Didn't track the GT500 at all last year as I was mostly on smaller tracks and feeling out the new OIR track in Missouri.

Put the 500 on OIR this spring and it was amazing - have a lot to learn still.
Was at OIR for the Mustang Memorial day event. What an awesome track....

I did the math and factoring in brake and tire life and such, it comes out to about $700 a day for me. And I don't even buy nearly the most expensive tires.

If you stay within about 200 miles.

My trip to OIR was around $5K and then had a trailer incident and ended up putting 3K worth of axles under the trailer before coming hom.e

Maybe you all need to ask what @95CobraR s secret is. He is the fastest GT350 driver and he has had the same brakes and tires for four years.

He is fast.

That just reminded me of the scene in The Guardian when Costner let Kushner’s character break all the record's. He’’’’’ssss fast.

Are you running Nitto Grapplers or something??? I can't get 20K miles out of a set of tires, much less 30K!
