You guys have no clue wtf, yes you can run that fuel in your gen3. And better than that (its going to blow away any 87/89/91/93 without ethanol)
This car needs close to 94 octane to deliver the full 460 hp claim by ford. And they LOVE ETHANOL.

Even if the gas cap says 10%, Its not worse than all the guys running E85. The car can accept it do your research if you doubt.
You will get worse gas mileage, but better performance.
Instead of telling people to research, why not provide proof if you claim what you say is true?

But all those vehicles tested are flex fuel. The widebands learn then adjust .
I thought I read this.......

Wicks has most recently been conducting countless tests regarding E30 in non-flex fuel vehicles. The results continue to prove how E30 can actually INCREASE available horsepower and torque, with fuel economy being maintained or slightly changed (increased or decreased depending on the vehicle)

The stock ECU tune adjusted the trims even out to E40. The best timing came in around E25 ish and did not get much better up to E40. CHT were better E30-E40. Obviously tuning maximizes the corn benefits via flex or full on E85.

Was those logs with your 18? 16 injectors can compensate better than 8.

I musta missed it. You logged with the gen 2 coyote? Cause if that's the case I load up with X98 for a E30.

What about warranty issues using e30.from my reading e30 degrades things like seals etc
I have a hybrid caddy ext.it was getting 14mpg.ran a tank of e85 and got 8.5 mpg.so went back to 93.

Add 47lb injectors and you good to go with tuning. ;).
Yeah I was thinking of LU47's. Maybe I can go full send on E30 after all haha.

Another clarification. 93 octane that has e30 in it was probably 89-90 octane before the corn was mixed to make 93. The ethanol was used to spike the octane. No ethanol 93 with E added to make E30 will have about a 95-96 octane rating give or take. The are lots of E85 calculators out there.
