93 Octane in Seattle, WA??

Moving from the midwest to Washington and from what I am seeing there is no 93 octane fuel out in Washington?? Car is currently on a 93 tune and the next best thing is 92. Really hoping I do not need to retune...
Any help or suggestions on gas stations would be great

Run the 92. Spark advance will adapt. It's only 1 octane number.

I personally feel like you should be okay. Consult your tuner, however! Download an application on your phone called "gas buddy". May help a lot locating certain octane in your area ;)

A friend of mine insisted on running 94 in his Harley even though it only required 91. He felt the more you pay for gas the better it must be. He had it dyno tuned by a local tuner and all of a sudden it would only run right on 94. Problem was only one chain of stations carry it and then it wasn't available in all areas of our province. So he had taken a perfectly good running bike and made so he could not travel anywhere he wanted to. Road trips needed to be planned around gas stations.

So moral of the story, why would you consider running a tune that limits where you can go or how far you can get away from a gas station.

AFAIK, all pump gas tunes are for a specific octane. Once tuned, you can't decide to run 87 octane in your 93R tuned car. That option no longer exists.

People have tried it, and grenaded their motor.

If you live at high altitudes, you can sometimes get away with running 91 in a 93 tuned car.

Looks like there's only 7 E85 stations in the state, only one somewhat close to Seattle, but still a ways away. Otherwise 91 and 92 octane are the highest you can get in the state with a small number of stations with race gas at the pump (again, the closest still being a ways away from Seattle).

Going to have to find a tuner out there to get the car tuned to 92...there goes some hp
