My M1 was scheduled for Oct 3rd. It went in production this afternoon. No sticker available yet. I guess we will see what the blend date is when the sticker comes available.

WOW! Just checked mine as well! It says "your vehicle is in production". Also had an Oct 3rd date. WOOO HOOO!!

Ordered on 6/28 from a local DFW dealership and it was delivered on 9/23. Dealership is tinting the windows, changing to all-season Continentals, and installing the RokBlok flaps. It'll be ready for pickup on Thursday, 9/29. Can't wait!

Does anyone have any advice as to what to be absolutely sure I check on the car before I take it home?

Besides what the other forum members have stated here so far, see if your dealer can provide a copy of this check list they use for pre-delivery inspection/ service. The attached pic is from 2021 but I’m sure 2022 is the same. That one suggestion about putting it on a lift was excellent as my dealer did that and we had a walk around looking things over. I wanted to get tint and PPF before I made the drive back home.
Thru PMs, texts, and calls with them, my salesperson, and the crew at the detail place, we worked it all out.

go over all panel joints to make sure they are flush and "aligned". Go over the paint looking for excessive swirls and other defects like dirt/sand in the paint. A strong light helps.

Hey Dtg33, in my earlier response, i had just sheet 1 of 2 shown of the PDI form. For some reason I can‘t locate sheet 2 of 2 ? But, I have a copy of the Q/A from Ford concerning HP questions. I didn’t see the HP in your sig but the info contained in this letter to dealers has some info that you could follow up on before your delivery and/or have more information which is enlightening since most dealers don’t realize we can get our hands on this stuff.

I also had a scheduled production week of Oct 3rd and as of this morning my car is in production. No Window Sticker yet. Oh happy days ahead!

You def picked the right person to do that for you. He’s a great help and a good friend. I was just enjoying the ride and your car from the back looked so good! Mach 1 is sexy af imo.
