Happy to say I received confirmation this week that my MY22 order that I put in on the very last day MY22 orders could be placed has been scheduled, VIN'd and will be built!

Was all set to drive up to DC and back Friday to pick up mine.
Saw Ian was set to head up that way and pushed up my plans.

Ordered on 6/28 from a local DFW dealership and it was delivered on 9/23. Dealership is tinting the windows, changing to all-season Continentals, and installing the RokBlok flaps. It'll be ready for pickup on Thursday, 9/29. Can't wait!

go over all panel joints to make sure they are flush and "aligned". Go over the paint looking for excessive swirls and other defects like dirt/sand in the paint. A strong light helps.

The S550's are notorious for the trunk lid to be misaligned and cause paint chipping at the corner. Read about this before picking my PP1 up and mine had it.

Have your dealer put it on a lift and inspect the underside, some members cars have been damaged during shipping.

I'm in Raleigh, my car's at Ourisman, in Va.
I wanted to get tint and PPF before I made the drive back home.
Thru PMs, texts, and calls with them, my salesperson, and the crew at the detail place, we worked it all out.
Some would say I'm crazy for letting a perfect stranger take my car, but forum members are a good bunch.
