The S650 is meant to be a cool cruiser. Looks decent, and sounds decent. The S550 has a lot much more going for it. Although, the FP800S may actually be a solid performance option.
Lots of Ford employees go crazy over the S650s at the 7G forum. šæ
The GT500 looks the best. And followed equally by both Mach 1 HP and GT350R.
Favorite part of the GT350R is are the side-fenders, and the Mach 1 HP stance is killer.
It's a lateral move, and not an "upgrade". I prefer the M1 HP low-end torque, sound and reliability compared to the GT350R.
Threads like this one always bring up the two sides of the GT350 fanbase. The genuine fans, and the investors (auto groups, and sole investors). šæ
Iām just curious. But what exactly makes a Shelby?
Iām a practical man. I care for purpose and results. Which is why I donāt buy Balenciaga, Gucci or any other āluxuryā brand. If a āregularā GT can outperform a āShelbyā for less money, Iāll take the GT. At the end of the day, a Shelby is ājustā...
Sure. I mean the changes in the world are obvious, or should be obvious. Some see it, some donāt.
There were people on the Titanic that stayed in their rooms through the whole ordeal. Good luck. š
Ford is already doing the collecting of data thru the Fully Networked Vehicle platform in the S650. Itās embedded. Driving habits, maintenance records, etc.
The remote revving is part of the conditioning to eventually introduce keyless access. People shouldnāt be surprise if Ford EV merges...
I saw a Vapor Blur GT cruising on the freeway yesterday. The color is very, very nice. The car itself is mediocre. Itās a big downgrade from the S550 in terms of exterior/interior design, locked ECU, the Fully Networked Vehicle platform, and even the exhaust tone (itās deeper in a droney way)...
š We canāt really escape Apple or Google from collecting data, but Ford (or any car manufacturer) have no business collecting my personal data, or data of my location or driving habitsā¦..AT ALL. And for S550s and earlier it is completely preventable.
For S650s, thereās no way to stop Ford from...
People thought the oil changes were actually free? š Corporations donāt just give out free services without strings attached.
Things got worse with the Fully Networked Vehicle platform in the S650. There is no disable at all.
Of course. I could care less what the guy does or doesnāt do. I just donāt support shady, or lazy practices/businesses. The guy isnāt even entertaining, thatās THE worst part. I never even chuckled when Iāve watched his stuff.
Anyway, ānuff time from me talking about the dude.
See, Stangmode is the only one that comes to mind that would really use all these tactics. The clickbait titles of his videos are out of this world. I blocked his channel on my YT feed. š
It would have been nice for them to have tested the Dark Horse HP with the Tremec, just like they did with the Mach 1 HP. Of course, Iām sure Ford provided the 10R80 with that in mind. No direct comparison. Sneaky bastards.
And as tested the DH was $75,500? š„¹ Iāll take a ZL1 1LE instead. But of...
To be fair, there are solid content creators that do not sell their souls to the algorithm, and still do well.
A hustler will always be a hustlerā¦online or on the streets.
Fake news! Any car with Unreal Engine graphics wins by default. š
I can already see it ācar wasnāt broken-in yetā, āS650 wasnāt really racingā. šæ
It took the C8 about 3 years, and an additional $2K for the process. Supra guys send their ECUs to Finland for a Russian hacker to unlock it for $3K. I wonder how it will go for the S650.šæ
S550s donāt have any of these issues. šš
