I’ve had an order in with Chapman since 8/10/21. Me and one other person are the oldest mustang orders they have…Hopefully my HP Mach 1 Premium gets scheduled in the next round…
Yeah, because they have had barely any scheduled, my best guess is that the next round of scheduling they’re going to have a relatively large number of Mach 1’s scheduled, just my opinion. Also as some others have mentioned, because Mustang and even Mach 1 orders I believe are still open, I’d have to imagine our orders from so long ago will be built if Ford thinks they’ll still get to new orders. I don’t mind the wait too much, but what worries me most is just not getting the car at all.
You guys care to share your order configs? Perhaps we can better guestimate what the lynch pin might be if it is a scarcity thing and not a favored dealer thing.
I hope so too. But Ford canceled all 2021 model year orders in October. Then new orders for 2022MY with the original order number were sent in. Did your August order get canceled then resubmitted in late October or early November? I am reading a lot about Chapman orders from 2021 not being scheduled yet. I ordered in June and was canceled in October. Then my order was resubmitted in November. From reading, all our orders are scheduled. Is there something with Chapman? Did they resubmit your order after 2021MY orders were canceled?
Wow - placed an order with them recently for HP Mach1. Anybody know how many total orders they have pending?
Not to rub salt on a wound, but that’s insane. I’ve heard of 700A, MT, HP orders from this year being scheduled for production. Something doesn’t add up, and it might be a dealership issue.
Well I ordered 2/14/22 and I am 16th on their list waiting to be scheduled. Plenty of people have ordered HP M1s after that and got build dates.
Yeah, I’m as 700 hp/mt car should be built this week.

Woah how’d you find out where you are on the list? I’ve tried asking but I don’t get many details, only that they’ve only had 2 HP cars scheduled in total. I ordered several months before that so I’d guess I should be lower on the list but I have no idea really. I am curious where I am on the list, but at the same time not sure if it really matters. The question is whether Ford goes in order at individual dealers, even if they don’t schedule in order in general. What I mean is that yeah obviously some of us who ordered a long time ago have no updates, while some who ordered only a couple months ago already have build dates, and this is likely because those of us with older orders are from dealers who have many more total orders, and like you said Ford is going to split up the orders among dealerships. But my question would be once they do pick some from, say Chapman, will they be in order of oldest to newest? Or also just as random?
