Yeah. The hot lap was eye opening. It really demonstrated what the car can do. It was a lot of fun. I wish we could ask the drivers questions after the hot laps, but they were moving us through so quickly. 10/10 experience. I am trying to sell my wife on a two-day class for me. Wish me luck.
I have these on my 22 Mach 1 and live in Michigan. Last winter was unusually warm and dry so got to drive it more than expected. I drove it in the low 30s a few times. Back end would be a little squirrelly on left turns onto busy roads.
40 degrees and warmer was not too bad, but I would do...
I really wish Ford did this or a Boss package instead of the Darkhorse. The Darkhorse is cool, but I prefer the legacy of the Bullitt, Boss or Mach 1 packages.
I never thought much about Mustangs until high school. The fox body just came out and my friend’s father worked at Ford and brought home a GT. I got a ride in it and really liked it. Then another friend, dad also worked for Ford, brought home a SVT. Got a ride that and my interest increased...
Same Here. Really happy with the switch. I get to drive mine as long as it is above 32 degrees F. They do not tram like Cup2s. I also got to transfer my wheel/tire warranty to the 4s tires. I live in Michigan, so wheel/tire damage due to pot holes is a thing.
I had a similar experience with my dealer. They tried to tell me they did not come with the car. Then that I was supposed to get 1 non-HP and 1 HP rear fender flaps. I let my sales person know that the parts dept. needs help.
I ended up getting it all sorted out in a month. Mine is a 22...
I think this is most accurate. Following the M1 ordering thread, a number of users bought a base Mach 1 to drive until the one they ordered was delivered. This was common with people that ordered M1 HP. They found a base model and bought it to drive until their HP arrived. Then would sell...
I am with this. I have a 22 FJG HP, leather seats (not Recaro). Would not change a thing. I picked FJG for the same reason. I see lots of pics of M1s with this color, but have yet to see another one in person. Hell, I have yet to see another M1 on the road. I got lots of complements on the...
In SE Michigan, the only other Mach 1s I have seen are at dealerships. I have received nothing but compliments from other Mustang owners. My car was very popular at a SEMOA event last August. The love is there for the Mach 1.
Set of Cup 2 tires for sale. 1500 miles. These are the original tires used for break in. I did not drive hard on them. Asking $1000 for full set. These are for Mach 1 HP or GT500. 2 x 305/30 and 2 x 315/30.
Me too. I am completely satisfied with my Mach 1 with HP and Tremec. I have yet to see the S650 in the wild, so I am not commenting on looks. But I am not a Camaro fan.
If there is no snow on the road, roads are dry and temp is 32 degrees F or warmer, she is on the road. Manual trans here. What’s the extra credit prize?
Same here. I have become hyper aware of driveway/parking entrance angles. I experience gentle scrapes on my front splitter, nothing serious. No damage. It’s not a show car for me, so I am going to drive it knowing that I will scrape every now and the.
I have a FJG and have yet to see another Mach 1 on the road in my area. I am in Metro Detroit, not the boonies. The only other Mach 1 I have seen is on a dealership lot. I know a couple FJG cars were sold from dealers in the area, but I have yet to see them on the road.
It seems like most...
Strongly agree with this one. Mine came in separately. I was also missing one of the rear fender flares. The front fender flares were easy and came in about a month later. The missing rear fender piece was trickier b/c the parts department was being lazy. They tried to tell me those were not...
I live in Michigan and drove on My Cup 2s in cold weather a few times (PS4s finally came in, so I replaced my tires). You can drive in the cold, as long as it is dry, but you will need to get the tires warm, which can take a little longer in the colder temps. You will be fine. Since you’re...
