Maybe the dealer wants to sell you a different car. From what I understand, dealers know as much as we do. When I was ordering my Camaro (backup plan), dealer was hesitant to place the order. They wanted to push an available vehicle on me, instead of placing an order. I get it, itās immediate...
I get the feeling that this lack of consistency is based on dealerships. Itās said that retail orders arenāt subject to allocation restrictions, but I doubt that for M1s Ford is going to select 5 from one dealership and 0 from a smaller dealership. Of course, dealerships will refute this since...
But like the excerpt states, itās all on the dealer. If I were to order a Z06, it would be from a dealership not charging an ADM. I tried 4 dealerships in my area for a Mach 1, and 2 were charging ADMs, and 1 didnāt want to place an order (they had a non-HP M1 in route and wanted to sell it to...
Not to rub salt on a wound, but thatās insane. Iāve heard of 700A, MT, HP orders from this year being scheduled for production. Something doesnāt add up, and it might be a dealership issue.
I personally wouldnāt wanna risk it. I slept on it a couple days, before placing my order, knowing I was NEVER gonna make any changes through the process. It just makes sense that changes would affect the placement in queue, and that once production is scheduled, no changes can be made.
Well, Tesla is doing quite well. And with the war in Ukraine itās become semi-patriotic since Russia and the Saudis provide a lot of oil. The US even reached out to Venezuela for oil. EV is the future, for better or worse.
I wouldnāt mind that purple paint on my Mustang. But I guess at the rate the Mach 1 orders are being built, it would take a decade or two for that color.
From what Iāve read/heard the S650 will be released as a 2024 model. So either there will be a full 2023 Mustang production year or an extended 2022 run. Iād prefer the latter, and hoping for the Mach 1 to be part of it.
I wouldnāt mind a Roush, but I much rather stay N/A. If anything Iād probably get the 2023 GT PP, praying it will have a Tremec trans. That would be a great way to end the run of the S550.
This is encouraging. I placed an order in April for an HP/700A/Recaro Mach 1. Perhaps the additional chips/sensors for the leather seats make it more restrictive. I think Ford started shipping out Explorers with missing chips/sensors.
Im new to this forum. But this was my main question before placing my order. I wonāt be tracking it, but if Iām paying this much for a Mustang, might as well make the most of it. If the order takes too long, I might just settle for a 22/23 GT PP. That Tremec is another selling point too.
