Im going to talk with my dealer today, and see if he can push me to a priority 1. If not, I may walk away from my order. This is a hard decision, I have been waiting since October, like others; but this is seriously getting me worried. Someone, talk me off the ledge...lol

Of course, we could skip the Mach 1 and just opt for the 2023 Mustang Raptor….

the one thing the Mach 1 has is a bullet proof engine. to me, that’s the biggest draw to the Mach 1.
8 grand + labor and you'r GT350 can be Coyote equipped. I don't see a problem with that.

There was also a time in 2019 just before the pandemic started where Bullitt's were rotting on dealer lots. 15-20k off MSRP to get them off the lots. That was an absolute steal for a beautiful car.
yup 42-45k on 53k sticker'd Bullitts. Or $7000 off GT350R's.

kind of defeats the purpose, as what makes the gt350 special is the voodoo

So I have a friend who works at Flat Rock - they told her they may be closed for 4 Weeks, but that will evaluate Week by Week. Potentially closed for the month of April. But she did say if we have a commit number, she can try to find out if it’s on the production line.

You haven't been waiting even a year yet :) Don't quit on it too easily. It's just stupid time to buy cars when the markets are in a complete havoc...
It's not just the silly time and the market. I can understand those things. I can't understand why people who ordered the same car I did two months after me are getting their cars months before I will get mine. Ford schedules everyone else and then announce they're closing the plant.

Paying a good chunk of change to have Ford shit on my head. Pretty difficult to hang on under these circumstances.

Preach. It's not like it's part constraints either, considering that I've seen at least 3 different GT PP Mustangs with Magneride on this forum get scheduled when they were ordered well after mine and others in this thread.

We don't even get a peep out of Ford as to when we can expect our cars except for some email that really doesn't say anything except "sorry for the delays lmao"

Well there is a thread elsewhere that insiders say it's not just chips but "Ford has issues with 37 different suppliers. Trying to pin down one part at any given time is ridiculous." Also that the Japanese chip plants were only down for 3 days after the earthquake. There's a rumor that the closure could last for 3 or 4 weeks, but would be reassessed each week as things develop. :explode:
