Congrats on the car! The Kanc is gorgeous right now. Took the wife for a quick road trip in my Mach 1 on Saturday. Couldn't do any spirited driving due to all the leaf peepers, but was still fun.

I use a Craig's Custom Bracket for the front plate. No issues with the bracket and I highly recommend them. The way I look at it, why give the police a reason to follow me until they find a reason to pull me over.

I Checked out Craigs Custom Bracket and it is nice. IF I need a plate on the front I will get that. Nice with no holes drilled!!

Like a mirror.. We have same color, options, also arrived Thursday (Bay Area), picked up Friday afternoon, took ~ 3 hours.

Did you check if shipping blocks were removed? I asked sales guy - he said “oh yes of course our inspection guys handle all that”. Two seconds later I looked under fender above tire using my phone flash light and guess… big yellow shipping block on the spring. I made sure he was sufficiently embarrassed before he drove it back to racks to have them removed.

Took a little getting used to clutch and shift points (been 30+ years since I owned manual)… after couple days, it’s natural now. For me 3rd and 5th are really close. Also 5th is amazing cause you can easily go from 2nd (~ 40-45 mph), then comfortably straight to 5th if you want, depending on your mood.

I told my sales guy to have it on the lift and check for blocks and any damage under the car. He said they did and when I got home checked one of the springs, no blocks. I do have an appointment with the dealer on Monday to look at some lines on the car. The right rear quarter where it meets the bumper is out a hair, found it when waxing. No big deal.

Congrats. Last I heard my car was in a rail yard in Illinois. 20 days in on shipping. I’ll get a status update from my dealer Thursday.

I know some guys waited as long as 30-45 days for shipping, so it is what it is. It’s built and on the way, which is all that matters.

Shipping to Granger took 4 weeks. It sat for 3 weeks in the rail yard about 200 miles from the dealer.

I ordered with them 2/16/22 and mine is at least shipped. Delivery date was 10/2-10/9 but no vehicle yet

It will come when you dont expect it. I picked mine up last Friday and still no email from ford that it was shipped, delivered to dealer. Check the tracker as I did, it showed the delivery and it was right. When I called the dealer to find out the delivery truck had just left and the Mach 1 was there. IT WILL COME and it will be worth the wait.

Latest update on my Mach 1. Called FP yesterday and was told the car was produced on Oct 5th and was scheduled to be shipped to Granger between Oct 15th and Oct 21st. However, that will be pushed back. It is waiting for inspection before it can be released. There are no material holds. Now I wait like so many others before me had to do but I know it will be worth it when I finally do get my car. There must be some shortage of Inspectors as it seems like there's a bunch of cars just lined up waiting on inspections. Best of luck to all those still waiting on their cars and congrats to all who received their cars this year.

I picked mine up on a Friday and I didn’t get that message until the following Monday. Probably just the time it takes for the delivery to get acknowledged in Fords systems.

I dont even see modules on mine yet. Its shown “body shop” since 9/30. It clearly didnt blend on 10/6 as scheduled. The lack of available info is irritating beyond words. Some cars go through all the production - shipped steps in order with updates and some just get lost in some ridiculous shuffle.

Not sure if you called Ford Performance or not. See what they have to say. There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to the production and delivery of the cars we order. It is frustrating.

Ive used the chat. 3 times. It almost makes it more frustrating. Cause they dont actually know anything. They told me blend is when they start the build and it could take 2-7 days. I pretty well called BS on that. For a car to blend the body and the chassis have to be ready to come together. My body cant have been in the body shop getting painted for 11 days. Its idiocy. I told him many are seeing modules on blend day or within a day or two. I still see no modules. So if im in the body shop, havent blended, and dont have modules its just stuck somewhere. For an unknown reason. I get it if a car is stuck on trim line or waiting for QC or parts or shipping. Mine appears to not have started before, on, or since its blend day. Id feel better if it at least appeared to be started.

And they should damn well adjust blend dates when cars before and after you get built, and yours is stuck.

I'm sorry to hear that. It sucks. I wouldn't doubt that somebody didn't update the system(s) they use but who the heck knows. Maybe your dealer can get involved to help you.

Another update: the car has shipped! That was quick! I thought it would take several days before shipping. Anyone knows how long it takes after the status is changed to SHIP for the car to arrive?
