I keep forgetting that, with you over here in the Mach1 area so much, and being the guy with all the answers makes you an honorary Mach1 club member.

I would have given him a thumbs down if I could, but they are only on their second week back in production after a two week vacation, so time will tell. I think that they (Ford, Flat Rock, etc.) are in a slightly better position than last year, having that 2021 experience under their belt. Plus they still have all of October to fill.

Went by two dealers in San Jose area last night, and not one Mustang on either lot. One of them had maybe 4 or 5 new cars total, on the lot for sale. Zero cars on the lawn out front, and one Exploder in their showroom that holds up to 5 cars. Almost everything there was a "retail order" waiting to be picked up or used.

The other had a maybe a dozen or so new, mostly F150's with upgrades (running boards, wheels and tires, etc.) and large ADM's, Very sad! I talked to a manager at the first one who said if he had inventory, he could sell it easy, but they're just not getting any cars from Ford. The one's they do get are mostly get sold in a few days.

Wait, so what's the deal with the car cover? I took delivery a month ago, not a cover to be found...

I guess I was lucky. Mine was in the trunk. The box looked old and I was worried it was going to be a Bullitt cover.

Mine is built and the window sticker also says CONVOY. The date on the very bottom of the window sticker changed to today, guess that means it was reissued today, but it had said CONVOY all along. I understand that MO is flooded, and KC is where the rail yard is.

If i remember correctly its not possible to get PPF on any color other than FJG right? I dropped my grabber blue off for PPF this evening but want to know what to tell the installer tomorrow morning when i call. Is there anything we can do to protect the mach 1 hood stripe?

There are people on here somewhere that covered the stripe and others that trimmed around it, try searching it. I would talk to your installer and ask them, they do stuff like that all the time. You might want to check with the GT350 guys about protecting their stripes too.

My shop hasnt seen a mach 1 yet so i dont think theyre the main source i would want to listen to with this issue as it doesnt seem like its a very common problem with vinyl
