2022 Official Mach 1 Order Tracking Thread

Believe it or not, the 4 cup 2s will fit in the back with the rear seat down. I just made the trip from Illinois back to SC picking up my Mach 1 HP. The dealer was nice enough to give me some tire covers to protect the interior. I didn't notice too much rubber smell, but I only drove 700 miles, and not 2000.

Not that I don't believe you, but I wish you'd post a picture of them in there.

Bought my Mach 1 today.

Build week of June 13 was given, then delayed to the next week, then set back to week of the 13th again. Originally the delivery estimate was July 6-12, then was 10-16, then delayed to July 28-Aug 4, which the Ford Performance person said seemed to be more a realistic range as something about the order had a new note about the road convoy or something. Then the next week I called Ford Performance again and was told eta was July 26th. Sure enough that very night of the 21st (technically the 22nd as it was 12:30 when I randomly decided to check the tracker) it was magically shipped... and delivered on the 22nd. I must've placed my order at the perfect time and/or it is just the area (near Pittsburgh, PA).

I used to autocross without a tire trailer and would carry 4 wheels with r-compound tires inside my Camaro. I bagged them in heavy duty contractor garbage bags (55gal drum size or larger) and it protected the interior. However, I quickly upgraded to a tire trailer as the last thing I want inside of a car during a wreck is loose tires and/or wheels. Regardless, bags work well.

Take that seriously.. it is dangerous. Long time ago, my friend just after H.S. grad (18 yo) driving pickup had head on collision on country road... tire in bed came through back window, broke his neck and died. Be safe.. then enjoy the M1.

Order Placed June 7th

Eruption Green Metallic - 700A - Recaro Leather - Performance/Handling Pack - 6MT

On Thursday July 21st I received a build date of September 12th! Can't wait and hope everything goes smoothly.

Based on what others have experienced is there a month to anticipate the pickup?

If you ordered and paid for the $400 cover, it will come. If in a few more weeks it still hasn't, call Ford Performance.

So today, 7/26, is my "Blend Date". What exactly does that mean and what happens next?

Your car has been in production since last Tuesday or Wednesday (your window sticker has been available since then) and the blend date is the day the body and chassis comes together. It should be completed tomorrow or Thursday. If no issues, hopefully it will get shipped soon afterwards. Your sticker should indicate initial shipping as rail or convoy (truck). Mine was blend today also — mine was 662/1176.

Blend date is when all the parts for your car are scheduled to be ready and your car should enter final assembly. Normally, it be built within a day after that.

at this point Ford is just issuing all the remaining orders a build date.....if anything goes wrong in the world cancellations will be coming in OCT.... #myopinion

Duh! What a negative attitude!! I see. It looks to me like they’re scheduling along the same pattern as previously. October should get scheduled during the 3rd or 4th week of September. They’ve not had an unscheduled shutdown for several months and seem to producing cars as planned. Of course if parts don’t flow as planned it will have a negative impact on production. Duh, just like it is with everything in this new crazy world! Hope yours gets produced!
