Who has installed adjustable camber plates on a 2020 GT500 and which ones did you use?

I have the factory OEM camber plates. They suck. Vorshlag is the best in the biz, but not cheap. I have used them for my other track car and Vorshlag is without a doubt the best. Other brands are ok, but, well, you will get a million different opinions.

They suck because of the limited adjustment or....... ?

Tom's right.

The factory plates simply aren't geared to allow simple and repeatable adjustments. They are great for a set it and forget it plate but not so much for a user-friendly experience, which is always nice at the track. Plus you are limited to camber adjustments only, as opposed to caster/camber on the plates Tom is referring to.

These guys are spot on. I have never used Vorshlag, but I have used the OEM version and they are a real pain in the ass to adjust. The range is there (maybe not as much as Vroshlag????), but to dial in the desired degree is very painful.

My car will come from Shelby with what I believe to be Maximum Motorsports plates, but if I were to buy a set myself, I would definitely go with Vorshlag.

Awesome info guys!!! I’ll get the volshlag . I will be doing track days, that’s why I bought the cars :). I went through front tires on both cars in one weekend because of the outside edge on both fronts were getting hammered!!! The inside edges of both fronts are pristine. I thought this was something I could do myself but after watching the install video you need a press for the spring. I’ll see if my local mechanic can do it. I have 2 2020 GT500 that need them badly.

got a track day Saturday at Homestead Miami so I’ll have to just live with the street setup :(. Sport cup 2s are starting to get expensive….. gonna try a square setup of 305/30zr20 Good year F1 super car 3 on one of them this weekend.

Ordered vorshlag! Local mechanic said no problem. I saw a chart somewhere Ford recommended track camber is -2.2 on the 2200+ GT500????

Look at the supplement to your owners manual. It's all in there.

I think that's where i saw it. I will go back and look again. Just wondered if anyone had real-world experience with them.

I just ordered the vorshlag and within 5 minutes they called me to make sure i did not accidentally order 2 sets when i only needed one (one for each strut) I laughed and said, nope i need them both. If they work out ill be getting a set for the GT350 as well. Then I told them i got the recommendation from this forum, so maybe they will advertise here....

100 percent incorrect. Both of my 2020 GT500s have them installed with factory suspension. Talk to another person.

I’m going through alignment pains as well. Installed CFTP springs and my front is all out of whack. Going to pull the locking pins on my OEM plates and hopefully get back to specs. Really don’t want to buy aftermarket plates just to only set them once and forget it lol. Thanks to @Tomster for assisting me with something I was clueless about lol

Depends on how much tracking you do with your car and how aggressively you attack the corners, but you might want more negative camber than what the limited OEM plate can offer. I wanted -3+, which has significantly improved my front tire wear. Here was my solution:
