SURELY.....no GT500's will come with cloth seats! I specifically did NOT want recaros because of not having heat/cool. But i for sure want leather.

Ok so I now have a question...I had an '18 350R (briefly) and I swear the recaros were heated and cooled....Are the recaros in the 500 heated and cooled also? I am getting confused with the new seats and what is and is not heated and cooled...

Keep it simple - none of the Recaro seats, GT500 or GT350 (or your '18 R) are or were cooled/heated.

Is the antenna on the roof for AM-FM reception?

I think it’s for the satellite radio/navigation stuff? I thought the AM/FM cam through the radio antennas built into the rear window?

I thought the wiring in the rear window was heating elements for defrosting.

Now you’ve got me wondering Earl, haha. I feel like the introduction of the rear window stuff came at the same time as the removal of the old style standup radio antenna. Hence why when you look at a convertible S550, they still have a standup antenna, because the folding rear window doesn’t support the same kind of technology as the fastback. But both fastback and convertible have the small, until now, roundish antenna for the satellite stuff (or so I’ve always thought). Anyone else have thoughts?

The “roundish” or new antenna is for satellite systems (GPS & XM Radio). The AM/FM antenna is built into the rear window defroster. Has been for a while on most Ford products.

Earl: I'm confused, (no surprise, I realize,) :-) Are you talking about a new roof-mounted sat antenna or the same one that is on mine?

Personally, I like this one much better than on my previous model which is black plastic and not painted. But it is on the trunk lid, not the roof.

I ordered sport seats also for the reason that I saw a gt5oo a few months ago and the sport seats were all leather no suede. Build date March 18th hope I get what I ordered. I do not like the suede seats in my gt350.
