Finally installed my Steeda IRS Subframe Braces


How was the install, any IRS alignment issues from the factory? I haven't gotten around to installing these yet but all the issues people have been having in the steeda irs brace thread has me worried.

Also, notice any difference in the car?

Don't know about him, but I just had mine installed as well, and we had an issue on the passenger side lining it up. Best advice is NOT to tighten anything up at all until you have them all in, we basically had to just put the nut on so it stayed there on all of the bolts, and then tighten them up, driver's side went on in 2 minutes

Same here. Everybody I know that has installed them have had issues with passenger side but the drivers side was easy. I had to modify a bracket on the car so mine would work properly.

Yep, Passenger side was a little tricky, but suspension pieces always are. I barely thread allen bolt into the nut just enough, and then tightened all the others. Once they were tight, the last bolt was a breeze. Driver's side was simple bolt on.

Had to offset the price for the TSW I bought. That was 3k miles ago. I'm happy to have given them a new home. The black on black was too dark my gunmetal has nice contrast

Painted my calipers matte black so they disappear. Never liked the shiny look on the base brakes.

I got home from a 3 week work trip and installed steeda jacking rails. I plan a trip to Murphy NC this weekend. I hear they opened a new casino there. Should be a fun drive.
