Probably should have started this sooner but I've tracked 99% of my build so I'll be adding a ton of stuff at first and then updating accordingly.

Purchased the car Aug. 14 2015. I had exhaust on order before I had even signed the paper work. My wife thinks I'm nuts.

Here it is after it was delivered to the dealer.

First mod was Roush axle back exhaust from AM.

Second was the Steeda progressive springs and Black Chrome.

Next was to correct the wheel hop issue with the IRS.
It's 99.9% gone. I have BMR vertical links in transit now...that should do it. Alignment kit, bushings and braces are Steeda. BMR vertical links just looked stronger. Will post pics after install.

My plans from day one was to add a 2.9 Whipple or a Roush supercharger. Hoping the wife lets me pull the trigger by spring. Also went ahead and got a custom plate "Nice Try" and since it showed up before I had a chance to S/C the car I figured I needed a little more HP than stock.

JLT cold air and Bama Tuned from AM.

Do you have any rubbing or fitment issues with the Steeda IRS Braces? Particularly in the rear? Mine rubbed on the subframe removing the paint and causing damage. See pictures below.

I'm not a fan of the stock shifter. It has a crunchy/grainy feel. Not to mention I kept missing a few girds when hammering on the car. Went with a Barton short throw shifter 25% reduction from AM. Haven't missed a shift yet, much quitter and short throw.

When I was installing them, the fitment was not that great. One side was horrible. I had to loosen the entire IRS to get it to align enough to get the bolts back in place. So I guess you could say yes....but I haven't pulled them back off either. Last time I checked under the car everything was fine. I'll double check next time I'm under the car.

One of two packages showed up yesterday from ****.
Ordered the MRT hood struts.

The BMR vertical links I ordered are still MIA. The ups tracking link they emailed me doesn't work so I'm not sure where they are or when I'll get them.

Got tomorrow off so hoping they show up today or in morning.

Install pics coming....

Curious to see what you think of the hood struts. I had the first set they put out and they were awful. They just sent me replacement ones in race red and when I went to put them on, when I pulled out my bolts the hole on the drivers side was stripped. So now I have to figure out how to fix it to get them on. The brackets aren't even big enough to go over the hole so you basically have to force it on. It's probably the worst fitment I've ever seen from them (I've owned their hood struts before). I may actually just switch out to the Redlines either which don't use the fender hole.

Awesome. You going to the C &C at Wake county speedway?

Sucks about the stripped threads, sorry man.

This is by far the worst fitment and quality I've seen yet. I'm disgusted to say the least. You're exactly right, nothings fits or lines up correctly. I managed to get them installed but when I shut my hood, the passenger side bracket crushed my battery cover. Almost pierced completely through it. Thats why you see where I had to cut a relief notch for the bracket to fit. The panel was already damaged so why not....I'll be ordereing a new panel and the crappy hood struts are going in the trash. Also, the bracket is only held on by one bolt and chatters against the hood when opened. Not sure what it would do while driving. I have a white soft plastic placed in there until I get my new panel. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for....

Crappy fitment

More crappy fitment

relief notch where the bracket damaged my panel

removed stickers and you can see where the plastic is inserted to keep bracket from damaging hood

Also opened up my grill for better airflow to the cai.
This has been discussed several times and many people aren't a fan of it. I come from a big racing background so I have my reasons.
The air intake temps are running about 4º to 7º above ambient.

Still haven't heard anything back from ****. Emailed them asking why the tracking link to my BMR vertical links wasn't working...nothing. They didn't show up yesterday, probably wont show up today either. :frusty:

Damn man that really sucks but if it damaged the panel the alignment may be off on the bracket itself. I have my hood closed right now with them on and do not have that issue but the fitment is definitely really bad. They don't make the fender bracket big enough to slide over the hole evenly. Like I said I am probably changing to Redline and would recommend that as well.
