Will these tires actually fit the stock GT PP wheels? Since its for the s550 and all
They will offer lots of sizes, and most likely a size that will fit the PP wheels.

Yup...

Always seems to come down to that.

My 95 Cobra seems to be the easiest to find tires for. My 2005 can be a pain in the butt trying to stay around 27in tall on 18s. Now 19s are proving just as painful.

It isnt like the mustang guys are a new genre of unique cars on the market. There is a set of ratios that works but only one tire company has them offered.

Lame.

Been considering 285/35 -19 for front and 325/30 -19 for rear but it would probably just be wiser to go 19in wheel front and 20in wheel rear since you cannot rotate a staggered setup anyhow. 20in rear wheels seem to have better options. So 305/30-20 or 315/30-20.

i would just like to keep wheel weight down.

I am a long way off before I buy though.

Watch tire weight too. A 325/285 Potenza RE-11 setup is about 15lbs heavier than a 325/275 Michelin PSS... Even more extreme, drop to a 305/35 & 265/40 PSS setup and you save 22lbs over the Potenzas and have a 27.4" tire on all 4 corners.

The driver stopped from a speed of 60mph, in both the NT555 Extreme and the NT555 G2 and the stopping distances are accurate as witnessed with my own eye, live at the event.
Were these tests done going up a hill?

It is definitely a consideration when I shop. But when you only have one choice it is a pain, fortunately it is a really good single choice in this case... but not always the situation.

That is the reason why I plug numbers endlessly. While it is nice to know that Michelins are light weight, if I could save near 200 dollars a tire and get a tire that was maybe only 2-3 pounds heavier... yeah I am gonna consider the cheaper option.

Those tire sizes I mentioned would be a useful size to us on both SN197 and S550 cars. Options would be nice.
