I have tunes saved from my 2015 and 2019. On the 2015 I ran catless headers and Lund had no issue defeating emissions for me IN WRITING. Passed multiple years of emissions just by throwing their “emissions” tune on there.
id willingly give up these files and show correspondence with their...
Fuck lund. Same experience as OP. This is my honest review after having two cars tuned by them. If you don’t like it, I don’t care that your feelings got hurt.
Never ever ever go with Lund unless you are 1000% okay with the risk that if their “Custom Tune” doesn’t work the first or second...
This happened with my 2019 PP2 on the way into work when I first got it but it instantly flashed then went away. That same day on the way home it happened again but stayed in limp mode and threw that code and statement. If I remember correctly both conditions happened when I was downshifting...
on the stock tune do you have any issues? that was my biggest comparison is logging stock vs lund back to back and highlighting the issue in the log for them
what type of car do you have? sounds like a 2018 mustang gt with a10? not familiar with a "reset on trans" for a manual car.. if your car is auto, i likely wont be able to help with anything i learn from my scenario
so lund gave me a revised test tune which appears to be the stock tune but with e-85 fueling mapped to it. the issue is solved. so i'm continuing to work with Lund to see if i can get a flex version of this with proper spark/timing adv and a e85r version of this with the usual mappings.
logs...
attached are the data logs. on the 4.26.2020 Flex Rev Hang Issue.xlsx log. around row 874. from there on the pedal position is 0 (foot off of pedal) but the AFR1 & AFR2 do not snap shut to 2 like it should. this is when the issue is present. later on in the log on exactly row 2559 the decel...
looking for some help or ideas. i'm running Lunds flex tune on my 2019 PP2 with drop in K&N, borla atak, and 170 tstat. since the first baseline 93 tune the car it has started to not decelerate when i pull my foot off the gas after taking it over a certain RPM and throttle position. normal...
Replace the entire intake manifold. Sometimes the IMRC internals break, which Can be masked or misrepresented on tests.
remove intake manifold, flip upside down and see if the flaps move freely or are stuck. They should not move freely if you violently shake the intake, and they should not stay...
Fyi if they test the IMRCs in the intake mani it will likely pass. This is because the actuator itself is not damaged nor malfunctioning, but the flap that the actuator controls is broken or stuck. The IMRC actuators control one flap on each side of the intake, each flap covers all of the...
4 pages in and surprised I haven’t heard these. Apparently these have been issues since Mercury’s were a thing. Leave it to ford to never fix stuff I guess
Lack of reliable air conditioning, evap/compressor/leaking valve issues.
Misfiring cylinder 8 due to cracked intake manifold runner(s)...
well if you cant find where everything goes let us know! you're certainly into the point of no return
about the jam nuts i'm not sure what size, luckily i had a big enough crescent to get the one that was "jammed" loosened. the other 2 i was able to do by hand.
His cluster is completely gone and those two bolts hold it in place supposedly so he should be good there.
The thing to keep in mind is you either need NEW bolts or to be handy with RTV. You will need 4 new bolts or to RTV the following 4 bolts:
2 bolts instrument cluster bolts
2 bolts that...
You got a ways to go, also it looks like you removed a TON of stuff you didn’t need to touch. I pulled my dash following the motor craft instrument panel removal guide. You can buy 72 hour access to it (looks like you may have already done this).
Based on what I see in your pics you still...
Wil-e is actually not trolling, if you look up eibach spacers you will see some of the horror stories. That was a major reason I did not buy them. I looked at garageline spacers but they had issues with stocking them and the deal fell through.
High price does not always equal quality, if you’re...
