It's not the tires that suck, it's the size. You're not going to get grip with much of anything in a 235. I run a 305 and they do not spin from a dig unless I try to launch hard on the street in first. Two foot second and they manage much better.
Same here. I really have to get those rpms up in first to try to get the 305/35 rears to break loose. They just grab and go.

That makes perfect sense. 99-04 models at least had 245s, so why they increased HP while decreasing tire width is beyond me.
