And prices too. I'm probably picking up MPSS's either this week or the next but I'm sure i'll need more soon enough.
I also would like comparison of this tire with the leading tires on the market(mich pss, bridgestone s-04, continental dw etc....)
Tirerack is great with these tests, unfortunately they don't carry Nitto tires .
76.5' from 60-0mph? That does not sound even close to being correct. If this is true, that is probably the best tire on the market. The new z06 that is lighter, has better brakes and sport cup 2 tires did a 91' 60-0.
Ok, I just watched the video on Nitto's youtube page.
Nitto Tire test. If you're on a mobile device, go to the 3:07 mark.
It says "Wet braking 76.5'". It doesn't say at which speed they stop from. Information must have been misinterpreted at some point.
That's a hard pill to swallow. Not only do these tires stop a ~3800lb car faster than every R-compound wearing supercar in existence. It does it on a wet track! Not to mention it is in the Passenger Tire category instead of Competition Tire. It's also in a lower performance category than the nt05. So is it safe to assume the nt05 and nt01 can brake even SHORTER than the nt555 G2 in the dry? I would really like to see another company test this tire to verify these claims. The driver stopped from a speed of 60mph, in both the NT555 Extreme and the NT555 G2 and the stopping distances are accurate as witnessed with my own eye, live at the event.
The only size I can confirm is 275-35 ZR20 that's what I'm running on all 4.Will these tires actually fit the stock GT PP wheels? Since its for the s550 and all
No response from steeda about these unlikely results? That's a hard pill to swallow. Not only do these tires stop a ~3800lb car faster than every R-compound wearing supercar in existence.
