Just trying to get some solid info on selling my Recaros. Just did a seat swap with some Mach 1 leather seats. It went great, I love them. Other than the seat going back every time I shut the car off, I'm happy I made the switch. Now the question: What is a fair price to sell the very good condition recaros for? Ebay has them for an outlandish price, I'm not trying to gouge anyone. Just want to be fair and recoup some of the money I spent on the other seats.

What Recaro's? I sold mine for $2k, but they are the alcantara seats, in perfect condition.

BTW. You can turn off the seat moving on shut off in the settings. Advanced Settings - vehicle - easy entry/exit.

The problem is, my car came with recaros. My settings don’t have that option.

Is it changeable by forscan?

I disabled easy exit on for scan and it didn’t do anything. Maybe it’s just the memory seat module?

Might sound far fetched, but maybe bolt the seat in a car that has the exit option, turn it off, then reinstall it back in your car.

I think you need to look at the IPC section in ForScan and enable the option on your dash. Then you will just turn off the easy entry from the dash menu.
But I don't know the codes for that. Maybe they are in the spreadsheet in the big ForScan thread.

I think it talks to the seat memory module. If it's not there, the seat will not know what position to move back to. That may be the missing piece.

What made you switch them out and how many miles on them? I go back and forth as to if I want a set.

The Recaros are nice and comfortable. I just didn’t like trying to avoid the bolster on entry and exit. I have 29,000 on my Mustang. The recaros are in good shape.

Being an old guy with a bad back, I almost didn't get them because of the bolster avoidance issue.
I solved that by sitting on the edge and swinging both legs in at the same time, works great!
