Look up Chicagoland Mustang Club on Instagram.
They have meetups all summer in the area. The schedule is posted on their account. There's one coming up in the next week or so.
I think my plan for the parking brake will be to use an OEM style switch somewhere that makes sense. I'll probably just delete the parking brake handle and steal Wolf's idea of having a 3D printed filler piece made.
Awesome to see someone else doing this. @WolfMxbee swapped the S650 rears and fronts I believe.
I'm also interested in doing this down the road just for looks as I've always like Brembo calipers at all 4 corners.
Obviously the parking brake is a small hurdle to get over but nothing major...
Nice work on the rear Brembos swap! I am interested in doing this to my car in the future.
When you have time can you post more pictures of how all the rear suspension worked out? Have you had the car aligned since you've installed the S650 knuckles?
From the little bit I've read on Flex tuning it wasn't real time flex. It was based on reading the O2 sensor to determine E85 content which introduces more margin for error.
Real time flex has a sensor in your fuel rail that can can be used to adjust for E content in real time. I know PCMTEC...
Check your toe links and your LCAs and make sure the bolts are properly torqued. I had a Ford dealer replace one of my rear half shafts and rear wheel bearing under warranty.
When I got the car back the rear end felt very loose, at first I brushed it off but then I realized something was wrong...
Oh mind
Oh mind you I never said make a post in a thread there, I merely suggested searching around and reading some threads.
Then using critical thinking skills to make an informed decision for ones self as many of us have done. I'll completely agreed with you it's a bit ridiculous over...
I've had similar experience on a different platform running 5-30 as specified by OEM. Issue was that I was on the Dyno tuning a built motor with an upgraded turbo.
My oil pressure was dropping below the comfort level due to high temps. Issue was resolved by moving to 0-40 but I did that based...
A guy I work with occasionally built a Cobra kit with a Gen 3 Coyote. He describes it as scary fast and a TON of fun. He also mentions he has some regrets due to the impracticality.
You already touched on that and I think it's something to seriously consider if thinking about one. How much...
