Same here. To keep it running I surgically made one good one from two bad ones.

I finally traded it in last year mainly because Android Auto would no longer run. And other apps were starting to refuse to update and run.

That's pretty cool. I never actually had to do anything to keep mine going. It was just a damn good piece. Unfortunately, it bricked one night from one of the running ads on this site. :(

Picked up a few front spares a week ago. Brand new with brand new tires. Might throw them on and use mine as spares. Ceramic Coated the white heat shields already.

I get six years out of a Motor craft battery.
I'm on 5.4 years and counting, but I accept that's just jinxed it ...

I've had zero signs of any problems, but it seems like they come on quickly with these cars so I'm expecting a replacement is not too far in my future.

But don't go off my experience - I've been doomed from day one as I cant even connect my charger leads to the 'correct' location ...

In Minnesota sure. Im on my sixth battery since 2016 daily driving in South Florida. Wet cells and AGM both do not last in high heat environments.

It may be the sea salt in the air. Try to protect your battery posts with Lethem grease or a dielectric grease and see what happens.

American Muscle had some XForce long tubes open box and I couldn’t help myself. Just another thing to put on this spring.

Hmm, I've gotten 3-5 years out of my Motorcraft batteries in FL/TX. The one I'm on now has been lasting over three years, and I've been treating it like garbage. It's been nearly fully drained twice, and it's still going (although I think it's probably nearing it's end, at least if I don't get a trickle charger).

My new car did not like East Texas because about 4-5 months after I bought my car my battery started having issues. It kept going and I kept copmplaning to ford though they said they wouldn't do anything unless it was dead. I ended up buying a battery from o'reillys and so far so good. lol
