Your reply. It's too long... I didn't read it. It's much simpler than you think.

Things don't have to be complicated.

But whatever. You don't like the car you don't like it. I don't like the way it looks either personally but I won't say something potentially inflammatory about the design or the designers. Return to your soapbox.
well if you can’t be bothered to read my post, yet reply, it’s kind of strange dince you won’t know ehst you’re talking about or arguing against. Have a great day anyway.

By the way, it will be helpful in life to not try to classify someone else’s views as “inflammatory” etc. just because you disagree.

If you like an old gt500 dressed up like something thst msybe kinda almost looks like the dark horse…fine. That’s your standard. Mine is different. I like a bit more for my money and admiration.

The debut of the new DH SC promoted the advantage of the duck tail under the CF wing for added downforce on the Track Pack version. Isn't this the same set up Shelby America is already using on their 2024+ Super Snake cars? Looks similar to me. Or does the DH SC maybe a more aggressive angle? Added in the DH SC standard also...

The Super Snake appears to have a little bigger ducktail. But the concepts are very much alike. I would be curious to know how much R&D SA did on their aero package for the Super Snake and what their downforce numbers look like compared to the DHSC.

Maybe they misspoke, but that is distinctly what is stated in the video posted by Ford Performance.
Link?

Point is you can't really go much past 94mm/3.7", maybe 95mm with certain blocks

It's a stroker that gives it the extra size.

Like back in the old days when people said they bored the 4.6 out to make a 5.0...

Would love a Hagerty comparison video between the DH SC, Super Snake R, and the RTR Spec 5 when the DH SC comes out

just saw the starting price is 90k?

so that may give some credence to those who say the power ratings would be between the old gt500 and the GTD. If so, that’s a big bummer.

inwas thinking it would be 875 since it’s the 5.2 and rtf is doing 870 with the 5.0.

but maybe ford is using rTy’s pricing as an excuse to not try too hard.

would also love to see this comparison. i Love the look of the Shelby but it’s probably the slowest due to base car and transmissions. rtr has more power and likely more suspension input and trans tuning.

the 2020 gt500 was really fast. So this car will be quicker than that. It may end up the fastest of the three due to its origin as the 2020 gt500, but upgraded a tad.

imagine if they really went after it with a real gt500/cobra effort.

and then keep imagining, because they clearly didn’t. LOL. 😭

it’s like Ford isn’t even proud of this. The car is just hot off the press and what’s featured at the top of fords homepage? An off road vehicle and a couple trucks...

welp, here’s hoping for 2030...

Has anyone taken a supercharged RTR car or Shelby model to the 1/4 and reported back?

I personally like the single piece ducktail trunk on the Shelby over the DH-SC attached ducktail. I would consider swapping out those trunk lids if I was ever in the market for the DH-SC. I might even have to go so far to say that I like the entire back end of the Shelby over the DH-SC 😄.

Either way, I’m a fan of this new supercharged mustang. It will grow on me as I continue to see more photos and eventually cross one on the roads. The only item that’s difficult for me to transition to is the interior dash, which I’m sure is the general consensus.

I like to disassemble things.
I'm actually not sure why they made the DCT.
How often have you tracked a 2020-2022 GT500 or GTD?

Didn't the Focus have a suit over the DCT?
That's a great question because I always look to issues with the Ford Focus when considering a Mustang purchase.

I work in Ford Prototype Development and I personally spoke to the head engineer. This IS the GT500 predecessor unfortunately @9secondko
You mean successor?

Ford tested a Turbo GT500 at one point, then decided to go SC.
No.

You can easily figure out what the gross weight is on the Dark Horse SE. Run a vin number off one on PTS.
At this point the DH SC's out there are prototypes built from any given DH chassis. So the car may look like a DH SC but the VIN will come up for a different car. I ran into this when researching early GTD's. VIN in hand, I tried (with help) to get a HVBOM for the GTD the VIN was on but the cars that came up were regular DH models that were used by Multimatic to build the first GTD vehicles that we laid our eyes on. You knew this, didn't you?

And to the questions earlier about the air pumps you see in the engine bay, I posted on it at 7G.

Google! it lies to you all day and you call me a fool. SMH. Where I work I see it first hand all day every day. Everything designed by committee. Ha ha ha ha ha ha. And by the way, I never mentioned gender, so I don't get where your PRO TIP comes from. And since you got me on a roll, someone born here can't be an American? What? SMH Here we go again making assumptions about people we don't know or never met. Talk about foolish. I guess "Woke" is a trigger word. I thought this forum was cool, guess I was wrong.
Google can't lie to you. it doesn't tell you things. It presents sources based on a question you ask that you can use to read about things. There is a reason you never see "Google" cited as a source. I think you need to back to Highschool and lean how sources work when writing papers.

I also never mentioned Gender. I guess you also don't know what the term "Yes man" is, but you'd have to Google to learn that. Guess you're just stuck not learning anything huh. Must be hard not understanding things but also WILLINGLY not wanting to use tools to learn them.
