Swapped out the old coolant reservoir for a Fathouse reservoir last night. I'll call it a success after much swearing and cursing whoever made these OEM hose clamps. Also after a decent amount of coolant spillage into my once "pristine" engine bay 
Glad I did it though. Looks much better AND, the old reservoir was ROUGH. It was literally turning into sand as I loosened bolts and hoses. It also was leaking from the seam where the top and bottom parts of the shell meet in the middle, between the min/max lines.
Then took her to Cars and Coffee unwashed. The horror!
