Corsa exhaust to loud for neighbors. Got a Karen next door

2022 mustang gt. Bought it this way. Jlt cai, Long tube headers and corsa exhaust So it has the high flow cats and it’s the extreme corsa exhaust with double X pipe with a Lund 93 octane tune. The cold start will wake up the dead! Anyway to make this a little quieter? Pissing neighbors off and the hoa! Thanks everyone in advance!

If catless, have your tuner turn off the enrichment cycle so your cold start will wake up the dead on initial start but immediately quiet down. So sorry you have to deal with an HOA, I would never make it with the Karens and Kevins questioning my projects and loud toys.

If you plan to boost it, it may hinder some performance since the inlet and outlet are 2.5 inches.

Get a resonator AND the Corsa Touring mufflers. You’re not going to lose any races because you put on a decent resonator and good sounding mufflers.

Its got to be silly loud as it sits.

Yea it’s pretty bad ass loud! It sure was fun for a few months but I do feel like a dick in the morning starting this thing up. I make sure I look outside behind my car to make sure no one is walking behind my car so I don’t give them a heart attack. It’s about 10 seconds of fury then it just purrs like a kitten. Well unless you floor it then it’s loud as can be! God damn it sounds good to me! Gonna miss it! Assuming I can purchase this stuff online and have my local muffler shop slap it on? Wonder if I would need to re tune it from Lund?

Hmmmmm....I love robust cars, but if I had the above red-highlighted conditions, I could not argue if my neighbors and HOA called me the Karen.

You can get borla products in custom size pipe if you call.

For na, you can run 2.5” the whole way through and itwont lose anything really, 750hp is where pipe diameter starts to be meaningful. Get borla s type or corsa sports paired with a resonator, itl be tame at low rpm. If you want some bark, keep the x pipe and change mufflers. Headers and loud exhaust like extremes or ataks are insanely loud

And like the other guy stated, ask your tuner to remove cold start, itl have a 1-2 seconds loud start and then drop rpms and be at a warm idle. However your lund tuner wont do that, as lund doesnt touch emissions altering things, so you may need to join the wengerd team for tuning

Are there any bylaws or provisions outlined in your HOA contract that state a vehicle has to be under a certain dB as far as exhaust noise or automotive noise in general?

If NOT, then go about your business and eventually the Karen’s will adjust or they’ll move….

To add to this, some cities/towns have noise ordinances before or after a certain time of day. Where I live, anything too loud before 7am is technically breaking the law. I'd hate to have to give up my mods because someone decided to escalate the issue to the local government level. That said, my setup is not nearly as......complete as yours.

Edit: I was curious, so I asked Gemini if OP's listed location has such an ordinance.

Guys are out there making 950whp through the stock 2.5" Active Exhaust

I think that you are underestimating HOAs.
They are not just Karens, they are Karens on steroids with some legal backing.
They can easily change or add bylaws to suit there wants/needs/desires. If you're not involved in the HOA or simply not paying attention that kind of thing can slip by. And the next thing you know you have steep fines and a lein against the home.
I think the OP is right to be concerned since he already said the HOA is getting upset.
