Is your installer going to utilize the SW pulse damper?

I was messing around trying to see how to go about installing mine in the Holly rails and here’s what I came up with.

It should be the same for the DW rails. I figure, why not try and use it.

Going to try to use it after finishing with the current setup troubleshooting, didn't wanna overwhelm the shop right off the bat haha

Is the shop just having trouble mounting the rails or something else? I notice the mounting bolts aren’t securing the rails to the IM.

I also see that you guys were able to run the crossover line in front instead of the rear.

I meant to ask, what parts did your shop order that you were hoping to have overnighted? Just trying to get a full grasp on what’s been done so far.

If it’s in the front and fully tightened, it’s touching/pressing on those lines/hoses you see on the left, and the shop thinks it is sketchy, borderline dangerous.

DW asked for my shipping info now, maybe they got some additional parts for me that I didn’t receive before.

They didn’t order anything new yet, everything they have is what I gave them from my initial order from DW.

Let me think on this a bit and get back to you with a possible solution. Gotta make a quick run, so give me a couple hours and I’ll get back to you.

Okay. Another way to create more room in the rear for the crossover line is to delete your IMRCs and install a lockout kit. I have the MMR kit on mine. I had to do some slight modifications on it though. I’ll find the thread on how I did that and post it here shortly.

See post #4 here. If you don’t want to buy a lockout kit, check out Zander13’s YT channel. He shows how to lock the IMRCs out with zip ties, which would certainly be quicker than ordering a kit and waiting for it.

Note: You will need to have them turned off in your tune, which should be easy for Wengerd to do.

You might have to buy a Fore Innovations Tee Block. I bought one to make my install a little easier. It took a few weeks to get it though.

Maybe Beefcake has one in stock.

A quick update, DW is sending me 90-degree hose ends and 3 feet line itself to make it fit anywhere.

That’s where the Di pump‘s fuel line connects to. Look at the above diagram again. In the top right corner, the open female port on the left of the tee block is where the factory Di line plugs into.

Your DW X3 Kit didn’t come with fuel line and about 20-25 various fittings? Should have been enough in that kit to account for about any plumbing situation.

Yup, I have the same one. Had enough fuel line for the designed plumping of the kit, barely anything extra. Not sure about the fittings tho, as far as I know there are a couple left but they’re straight, not the 90-degree ones. Maybe they include the additional ones randomly?

I ended up buying several extra fittings from Deatschwerks. I want to make sure I have more than enough. I may end up needing a little extra fuel line, but we’ll see.
