My fluid looked like this before I put in Castrol SRF last year. This year when I did it again, I realized I didn't flush the rear enough because the back brakes had pretty dark fluid coming out. If I had to do it again, I'd def send another 1/4-1/2 bottle through the rears.

For context, I swap w/new Castrol SRF every year since I started going to the track. Cheap insurance.
I do mine every 2 years on other cars, but I was lazy with this one due to the low mileage.

I start with the closest caliper first to get the master cylinder full of fresh fluid, then I go to the farthest.

Generally I go through 2 bottles.

You do not need to flush the brake fluid. It will go for a good 200k before you even need to think about it.
Disagree. Brake fluid is hydroscopic and absorbs moisture. Any semi serious performance car should flush the fluid at least every other year. Otherwise that moisture corrodes components internally and lowers the fluid boiling point. No bueno!

Battery died this morning. I completely forgot what a PITA it is to get the battery out of the enclosure.
And the battery box. I removed mine to install long tube headers and it's a bitch to get out and back in without feeling like I was going to damage the positive battery cable.

Hit a deer last weekend, damage to the door and the rear quarter. Decided to not deal with insurance and the already absurd rate increases going on, I'll need to replace the driver door at some point and I think I can get lucky enough with a paintless dent repair for the rear quarter.

But on to better news, doing my first autocross tomorrow (broken mirror and all!). I'll know a few of the guys there and it'll only be a few miles from my house, so I had to do it. Looking forward to the instructors and getting a feel for the culture.
