I need to do that. Six years ownership now.
It's the wipe down that sounds time consuming.
Definitely not! It’s really just removing any residual water that the blower didn’t remove.

If it’s been six years, get some Griots Garage engine bay cleaner and a soft brush to gently scrub it down first before rinsing and wipe down.

Decided to go back to running a pre filter. Easier to clean the prefilter than the big pleated cone filter.

I do the same. And it keeps water from running through the hood vent and onto the air filter

I’m assuming you’re running an open CAI if you’re getting water on the filter? GTP has a closed box so he shouldn’t be getting any water intrusion.

Today was a great day for an oil change. Hate I didn’t have any Amsoil but the next best thing works fine for now.

BIG WANG GANG. Do you ever drive it on the track or is it solely a track car now?

Lol. I drive it to the gas station across the street and that’s about it. Once the brew engine goes in I’ll take it out on street every now and then but 95% track. Just gotta find a way to pass state inspection for street lol

Was in the wrong place at the wrong time, hit by a clandestine isht bomb doing 55 MPH. Glad I didn’t have the top down.
