Another pic of yellow in the wild. I know not everyone likes it, but I think it suits the car well personally.

That's got to be a purposeful setup - check the road name ... :sunglasses:

Well, at least they were under 7 minutes.

Still some heady company (even though it's an eternity slower than the GT3).

Oh 100%, don't get me wrong, I still want two (One for track, one for driving around:wink:). But it's a lost opportunity for Ford, when all the hype doesn't add up to expectations. And for a far less expensive car to run a faster time.

They look so good though.

Expressed my disappointment in the time on another forum and someone replied that this was done in August. They believe it can be faster which is why ford was hanging around the ring waiting for better weather.

Congratulations to the team on the time. I just expected it to be closer to a GT3RS time than the 7 minute goal. I guess the first point was made which was an American car manufacturer can have a production car with sub 7 time. With better conditions and data I’m curious to see how much that time can come down.

They ran 6:57 on their FIRST attempt. There’s room for more.
I think if they can knock 10-15 seconds off and be around 6:40/6:45, I’d say that’s pretty respectable.

I know you weren’t asking me but I feel as though it’s still too early to say yay or nay due to times. The track is going through a repave so come spring I would expect ford to go again and it should yield better times off of that alone. A lot of variables can be changed between now and Spring. Engine tuning and weather can shave a few seconds.

I hope they upload lap video without edits.
