GTD allocations should be this week

Last I read, GTD allocations should be announced by August 31st. The 31st is a Saturday, so I figure by this Friday, the 30th. That's only 5 days from now.

Anyone who has their name in the hat, I wish them luck.

A friend of mine is a regular at Calabogie Motorsports Park . One day he went there and it was shut down to the public that day. They knew who he was and his cars that he brings there to test/race (Viper ARC, Ferrari's , Lotus, etc.) , so they let him in. He said that they were doing pre-production tests on the GTD, he was impressed with what he saw, so he 'applied' for one.

Was just about to ask if you’ve received anything yet. If the emails Ford sends out about getting a build date on the regular Mustangs is any indication, usually between 9am and 11am central time is when those emails go out. I would think similar timing since they’re also going to west coast folks?
