Agreed. The 10R80/10L90 application has already been shown to have iterations that work across several platforms from the Mustang to the Camaro ZL1. Would make sense to spread that cost around to use the same box but maybe have stronger internals of course to support the torque requirements of say a GT500 or whatever. Plus DCT boxes are HEEEEEEAVY. It's basically two transmissions in one.I really don't think DCT was ever in the plan ...
