Hey everyone! I’m curious to know what other cars you all have alongside your Mustangs for daily driving. While the Mustang is great for fun and performance, I’m thinking about adding something more practical or comfortable for the daily grind.

What do you drive when you’re not behind the wheel of your Mustang, and what made you choose it? I’d love to hear your suggestions!

My daily driver was a tuned 2019 GT premium and my weekend car is a 2022 M1. I just sold the ‘19 so the M1 is my daily driver and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I found a high mileage (220k+) F-150 FX4 for the dual purpose of doing pickup things (Lowe's runs, hauling furniture, winter snow/ice driving...etc) as well as something I could learn/test out fixing mechanical issues (have fixed some noisy idlers, front IWE hubs and completed full fluid change on it so far) as well as paint correction and cosmetic restorations (working my way through all the faded plastic bits so far).

Guess I should say that the above was just a fit for me. It's not the scenario I would have gone for if I needed a dependable daily commuter. I've put about 4k miles on it since I bought it in December, so this pickup is in its golden retirement home environment..LOL

The Mustang is my daily.
Wife drives a '14 Fusion
Former DD was a '12 Edge that has been demoted to occasional use when something needs hauled.

I’m driving my 2020 Explorer XLT when weather gets bad. I keep stang on road until late November weather permitting and switch over to explorer for winter.
Just applied same ceramic coating as I have on stang so finally set for winter.

Mach 1 is my daily driver. But we have a 2023 Lexus RX 350, which I also love to drive. Both are reliable cars and plan to keep them 10+ yrs.

F150 Tremor. I drive long distances to family over rural/remote roads, ski and offroad in the mountains, and do lots of dump runs, lumberyard purchases etc. Super comfortable on long trips, smooth ride, very ergonomic, very quiet, heated everything is nice for all the winter driving. Having Torsen diffs on both axles with torque vectoring is amazing.

It is also hilariously quick from a dig.

My “daily” Mon-Fri is a company issued EV Silverado that I get to take home which has been surprisingly great.

When not working, this is my personal daily. Lots of fun with the turbo diesel in it.

MY DD is a Mustang, just the electric kind. 2023 Mach-E GT, it's a blast to drive, not quite as much fun as the Mach 1 though.

I also have a 2016 F150, which was my DD, but I didn't like driving that daily.
