Mustang GT Daily Driver, with MagneRide

Afternoon all,

Curious, thinking about purchasing a Mustang GT, with all the bells and whistles.
In particular, this 2020 model, comes as Premium, with MagneRide.

Considering I will not be taking this car to the track, merely a daily driver (whenever we're allowed to even go back to the office, for work), is MagneRide worth it? Is it not for taking the car to the track and such?

It also comes with the Performance Package as that's the only way to source Magneride, so you're really looking at close to $7K MSRP for the two packages together.

There's a long thread about "Is the PP worth it?", my $0.02, is yes, I wanted the improvements and improved performance car the day I drove it away from the dealer, with zero interested in going aftermarket.

MR is pretty spectacular, not only does it perform better, but it does that WHILE improving the overall ride quality, it does things like adapt rebound on the fly (so you don't get that bouncy rebound in uneven roads), etc.

Magneride for the street is worth it over the standard PP1 suspension which is an insult IMO. Or buy a non-PP1 car and then upgrade to the good suspension packages that are well regarded for thousands less out of pocket. The PP1's Magneride is only 'decent'. You want the Power Pack MR upgrade from Ford Performance if you want it to behave as it really should, but now you're just lighting a wad of $100 bills on fire for the fun of it.

Yep, all of that! It was $$ in 2019 and is even more now but I would definitely order it again.
