looks significantly lowered? Software engineer probably forgot to do actual trig to baseline measurements and assumed vehicle would always be at factory height. Or they hired an ex-boeing QA supervisor.Owner said it drove itself into the pole
Don’t forget copper piping, or has the whole world converted to PEX…….It's not just transmission lines it is the copper windings in the motors and the battery connects and other wiring in the car itself.
I know you are trying to be funny but there is a study that says in order for Britton to go full ev it will take 3 years of the world's copper mining, leaving no copper for anything else.Don’t forget copper piping, or has the whole world converted to PEX…….
Don’t forget Anode production that requires graphite which comes from burning coal to produce synthetic graphite. There is a limited supply of natural mined graphite.I know you are trying to be funny but there is a study that says in order for Britton to go full ev it will take 3 years of the world's copper mining, leaving no copper for anything else.
It’s interesting how better your memory was in your original post, you gave the name of the city, the car model and engine type this carburetor was used on and even the precise gas mileage both in city and highway driving .Like I said it was 40 years ago and if I remember correctly, he was an engineer at NASA at the time that was just tinkering on it in his home garage. It may have very well been both big auto and oil that stepped in when they got word if what he was doing and tried to steal/stop him from proceeding further.
I don't have any hard facts or details but lived in the area and worked as an auto tech at the time. I believe when they tried to steal/stop him from proceeding he just closed the project down and would never divulge any info to them. He was not in it for the money but rather to help the everyday person since this was right after the gas crunch/shortages of the 70s.
Believe me or not it makes no difference now.
I will go with the British "SU" carb as one of the simplest and best carbs to ever be designed. The problem is most never really understood how simple and easy it was to tune. Very few moving parts and simple to work on and tune.

Given modern education can't countenance facts as simple as biology, and nobody can do 5th grade math or write cursive, did you actually think people can differentiate between baseless and plausible conspiracy theories?but people spreading baseless conspiracy theories are seriously hurting this country
really Ron?Maybe I’m a little harsh with you but people spreading baseless conspiracy theories are seriously hurting this country
That is funnyGiven modern education can't countenance facts as simple as biology, and nobody can do 5th grade math or write cursive, did you actually think people can differentiate between baseless and plausible conspiracy theories?
I just know Mulder would never lie to me. Scully though seems iffy.
For objective truth I consult with the chef of Swig and Swine. Anybody who lives for whole hog, has got their feet planted solid on reality.
Well, obviously some people still believe and spread those tales….really Ron?

Of all the issues that are out there, an old wives tale that has been passed down for the last ~50 years (that we have all heard) is the hill you wanna die on?!?
Hey Cybertruck, do some cool donuts like they do on YouTube!Just thought I'd post this. Owner said it drove itself into the pole

Isn't it time to ditch the penny???I know you are trying to be funny but there is a study that says in order for Britton to go full ev it will take 3 years of the world's copper mining, leaving no copper for anything else.
I'll take "none" for $1,000 Alex.GregO said:Ok class, what metallic material is used to transfer electricity from point A to point B to charge EV’s
I grew up on the space coast and lived in the area for 30 years in which I started my career as a mechanic in Cocoa Beach and then moved to Cocoa, FL. So yea the details of where and what stick in my mind much better than the reasons his work just vanished from the area. It’s interesting how better your memory was in your original post, you gave the name of the city, the car model and engine type this carburetor was used on and even the precise gas mileage both in city and highway driving .
You also unequivocally stated that it was the car manufacturers that shut him down and that he filed a patent application
Now, just a few hours later, your memory is not that good anymore when pressed for more details and confronted with critical thinking and common sense
The only remaining question, because obviously it is a baseless conspiracy theory, is did you heard/read that crap and simply believe conspiracy theories or do you created it yourself ?
Maybe I’m a little harsh with you but people spreading baseless conspiracy theories are seriously hurting this country
