I know they're pricey, so are the ARP, but I'd look into doing titanium bolts for the beadlock rings. Plus you can anodize them a different color too. My titanium washers hadn't showed up when I took the pic

Been to 3 different tracks over the past week. Converter data looks good. The downside is that when the converter couple's, its simply over powers the tires. Transmission coming out today and Extreme Automatics in Cincinnati will be installing an Coen 2.05 gearset to replace the 2.48. This will tame down the launch as the transition into power is far to abrupt.

I thought it would be a little lazy if anything, coming from the steep 1st gear in the 6R80. I imagine the way the convertor is setup also has a lot to do with it. What rear gear are you running now with the 400?

373 rear. The converter flashes quick to 7200, when it couple's under WOT its just impossible to control.

I would have thought it would be easier to control vs 6r as well. The 6r uses a much tighter converter and uses that 4.17 ratio to pull it through. The 2.48 in the 400 relies on a quick flash up and high stall to work.

It probably making lots of torques too and then you start getting up in the rpm and the power just keeps coming on
When the converter is slipping, that's when the torque multiplication is happening.

Tow pig update. The 5.0, 10r80 and 3.73 combo is badass. It would pull the car 125mph if you had the nuts to do it. Ported 21 GT intake, afe inlet, 3in cat back, tuned, eaton truetrac diff in rear, Ridetech suspension with traction bars and airbags. Got almost all from @beefcake , hopefully sponsor me a blower soon LOL. Got parts fast and at a great price as usual!
