Thanks for all the awesome replies, I've looked at the ones you have recommended, and now I'm even more confused, which one to purchase. I like the Hurst, I test drove a 2020 GT with one in it before I purchased my current one, and remember thinking it was cool. That was almost 4 months ago though and I was still new to the car. Again the only complaints or how much larger it is than stock, which some like and some don't.

I have a lathewerks titanium knob with a bead blasted silver finish and the GT inscription with the shift pattern. It's very light, not much heavier than the stock one which I like (I think its around 200 grams). It doesn't get as hot as a steel one either.

OP, I know it sounds odd that weight on a shift knob makes a difference in shift quality, but it does. 454 grams is one pound. Personally I would want something at least 200-250 grams if I'm upgrading. Unfortunately I don't know what the Hurst shift knob weighs and I wouldn't buy anything without knowing the weight.

OK, I know this may sound judgemental but it is what it is. And it's your car so my opinion shouldn't carry any weight.
Anyway, I personally find a Hurst shift knob attached to anything other than a Hurst shifter just wrong.
Others have shown a lot of really nice options that don't insinuate that you have something you don't.

I see they do a lime green and black set, and ship to the U.K. …

But what would I do with my beanies … ?

I'm sorry, but you don't "upgrade" the shift knob. You change it.

:cwl:
After reading what most people suggest, it sure appears that way.

Seems most people just change for aesthetics. An upgrade in their eyes.

Then theres the heavy knobs that change shifting. More initial force, increased inertia to move through the throw. Pair well with short shifters.

In my mind, the other category is the dramatic departure from the factory form factor. Which could be for ergonomic reasons, or people just like shifting with a Katana handle or 2ft long aluminum cylinder. It gets real wild in this category.

I like to tune all my shifting components to suit my taste and compliment my aftermarket shifting setups. That includes my shift knobs, which are an upgrade over factory when the shifting force equation has been altered.

Unfortunately I've had no success finding a weighted, sphere shaped white replacement shift knob. All the ones I have found are less than half a pound. Billetworkz makes a nice tear dropped one, that's heavy, not sure I like the tear drop though.

I went from the stock Gt350 shifter, to the Ford Performance Red Ball, to the Billetworkx short tear drop weighted shifter. The Billetworkx is far and away better imho.
