What works? Thinking about wrapping the intake tube in heatshield wrap or going old school with a water mist setup hooked to a switch under the gas pedal. Had this setup on a foxbody and it worked well and was super simple to setup.
in a heatwave here, temps about 90*. IATs are about 100*. Not awful but the car is noticeably sluggish in the midrange compared to when it’s cooler out.
It’s a PP1 car with the big radiator, on E85, ford performance grille with more airflow to the airbox inlet. Cylinder head temps are fine, 190* or so.
