Have to agree with this concern. I replaced my oil plug thinking I was upgrading and ended up blasting it out of the oil pan (despite being safety wired) and requiring a new oil pan. Expensive lesson - stick with OEM or similar plastic. Aftermarket metal expands at a different rate under heat than the plastic and the higher weight under vibration ends up causing problems.
OK this is good to know - unfortunately learning this a bit too late…question now is, do I gamble and leave it until the next oil change, or leave it and swap back on the next change…TBD. Not tracking, but will have to think about this. Thanks for flagging

Beautiful day here so my fellow GT350 buddy and I took a drive to meet another friend from out of town for lunch. Great time and a nice drive. Weather was perfect.

Yours is one of the only gt350's that looks good with something other than black wheels.

If you aren't tracking or driving hard it may be fine to just swap back at the next oil change, but it's a gamble you'll have to determine for yourself.

I gave my nephew a day of quality time, assisting him with getting his new to him GT-350 ready for some HPDE at Mid-Ohio. We installed a front tow hook, passenger side oil separator, changed the oil & filter, installed jacking rails, and bled the brakes. He learned a lot and is going to get ahold of Jon to procure his own oil change goodies as mine worked flawlessly again...:like:
BTW, WD Pro. Just not sure bout the color of my nephews GT-350, just needs something, don't ya think...🤔

Beautiful cars for sure, wish I could have put a face to a lot of gt350 owners but it was a lot of people there.

Yes there was. Maybe we will get to meet up at future event or car show.

Nah, black still looks very good in a lot of applications. But bronze is amazing on these cars without a doubt.

The time of the black wheel is over; it is time for them to leave middle earth. The time of some other color is upon us.
