Not sure that any 19-year old would get the Bullitt movie reference. They probably think of this tribute instead.

Still I referenced it. He can watch the movie. It's a good movie and memorable car chase in a movie. Two Lane Blacktop is one of the best road movies made, my opinion of course. I watched it in theater. Now I have the bluray. Got the original Gone In 60 SEconds and the Nick Cage one as well. The original I saw in the theater too. The most crashes in movie history I believe. No CGI in these. The crashes and driving were real.

Nothing beats sitting in, and especially driving, an iconic car and feeling the racing history.

The supra is really making close to 400 wheel at this point, it's pretty underrated since BMW likes to be sneaky and rate for worst conditions. 350 is still faster but not by a massive margin. Wider tires aren't always better either, it's not a default advantage. Wider tires help with heavier cars, so if you have less weight you don't need as much tire. I dunno where you found the Supra weighs 3770lbs, because everywhere I've seen puts it under 3,300.

I'd still pick the 350 but the Supra isn't a slouch.
I got the weight data off a Toyota spec sheet for the car. However, the number I picked up was GVW instead of curb weight. Now fixed. Thanks

I hate to ask this question. I currently own a 5.0 right now and I am wondering if I should buy the gt350 or the Supra. I’m not well versed with cars as much, for all I know is that whatever goes faster is what appeals to me but something that’s definitely hard for me to make up my mind about is “do I want a gt350 or a Supra?”. There’s a couple of things I need help with. For one, is the gt350 faster than the Supra?, for two, is the gt350 more reliable than the supra, for three, which vehicle definitely has more respect with a better reputation within the car community, for fourth, does the gt350 have an equal amount of tuning potential to be neck to neck with the Supra if not better. Those are my questions, I’m 19, I work in sales and my jobs are about 12-16 miles out from my house, I mainly work 5 days a week but I always love to treat myself to new things and this next new thing is a new car. I need help, please guide me.
Buy a Model S Plaid. It will destroy either of your "choices" on the street, it requires no maintenance, thereby requiring basically no automotive or mechanical knowledge, and Tiktok and Bookface patrons will think you're the coolest 19 year old in town.

:) I think he would fit nicely with a VQ with terrible exhaust.

I posted my last posts on the wrong thread. Sorry for that. I moved them.

...We don't need another Mustang crashing video.
And even if we did...
My cousin crashed a 105hp fox body.
The OP could crash a 315hp EcoBoost just fine. 💥

No need to put a GT350 at risk.

I can't believe that you people are debating whether or not a rice burner (albeit wth a German engine) is better than the best Mustang ever made. lol

The best Mustang ever made to YOU.

The best all-around Mustang, objectively is the S55 Mach 1 HP. The most bad ass Mustang ever is the S550 GT500. The best collector's Mustang is the S550 GT350R.
