I've had my Mach 1 for a few years now, have driven about 7500 miles, car runs great.
But I've noticed since I've had it, that after even a short drive of say 50 miles, the rear of the car is covered with lots of black dots, which is, for want of a better word, soot from the exhaust.
Attached is a pic of a small section of the rear showing the soot. I ran my finger through the middle to show what a cleaner part looks like.
I did mention this to a Ford mechanic a while back, and they said this is the way it is, as they said they run "rich", and hence create this sort of exhaust emissions.
Do others see the same ?
If so, ever found way to stop this ?
