Hey everyone! Got the HP goodies in and I installed them the other day during some downtime, everything was pretty simple even the spoiler. Now just waiting until Wednesday to get my roof wrapped in satin black, and it should be complete until the summer wheels/tires go on!

Did you get the wing painted? I'm trying to find that paint code for the original wing color

No I ended up just leaving it gloss black, I don’t mind it honestly and it definitely wasn’t worth the trouble and cost of having it painted, for me anyway. I think the proper color is magnetic metallic, paint code J7 if I recall correctly. And it also has a satin clear instead of a normal glossy clear, I remember reading that somewhere. If you get yours painted post some pics!

The guys who did mine did a fantastic job. Ask your shop for spray outs before putting the color on the parts.

They pulled it as 5FM6. The challenge on it was the sheen, not so much to color. I'm very happy with it, pics included comparing the painted gurney to the original Non HP Spoiler.

Also as a side note Duplicolor BFM 0360 is a very close match.

We are lucky that the wing looks great no matter which way you do it.
The gloss black matches the rear trunk plate
The metallic matches the M1 trim pieces
or Body colored.

No matter which way you go, it looks great on the car. Changes the lines especially looking at it from the rear.

That’s a good idea to have them spray some sample panels. I’m gonna have them play with some of the paint codes you mentioned thanks !

How does the front wheel lip moldings look with the non HP wheels....your opinion? Hard to gauge on your pics. I am considering throwing them on my car but was planning on keeping my original wheels.

Honestly I think they look great, I’m going to be putting on the HP wheels for the summer but these will be on during the winter. They look great either way, highly recommend them.
