Finally got my car back together, Vengeance Clutch installed, new 2022 Coyote engine under my Whipple. Drove 520 miles on a Yuengling run to Indiana and back. Ready to change the oil tomorrow. Took about an hour to get the engine in the car and a day to get it all back together and running.

Same, King Kona is literally the only person on my ignore list anymore. I had one other but he stopped posting 4 years ago apparently.
He’s in my ignore list as well. The other guy that was on my list got banned earlier this year 🤣

Four pages! Really? Four pages read with next to nothing new posted except about brakes! What a joke. I used to read this thread every morning to see what others have done that could inspire me. Only thing I picked up on these last four pages was not to post on anything controversial because there is going to be an idiot that’s done it better and wants everyone to know it. Just get a room and get it over!

Yeah, yeah, but.. hold on here! Yuengling Lite??? Oh the horror! Talk about Bimbo breaks!

(See - I'm paying attention. Even with the distracting four-page silliness.)

H pipe is on! Will see if I can get a good video and post it here at some point. Volume is definitely up a notch in each mode, although Quiet is still very quiet. I’m not concerned about waking my family or neighbors on the days I leave early for work. As for the tone, I would say inside the cabin it sounds very similar to the stock tone, just a little more crisp and refined if that makes any sense. Stock resonator is noticeably heavier so there is some definite weight savings.

The shop I took it too has experience with the active exhaust, they took an extra 1/2” or so to pull the tips forward and give a little more cushion for the passenger side harness to avoid potential rubbing issues on the frame.

They did not use the provided clamps from Steeda, they said it would not get a proper seal given the H pipe diameter is the same as the stock piping, so they expanded end of the h pipe to have it slip over the stock pipe and then welded it. Very happy with it so far, will take a picture of the welds next time I have the car up in the air.

They did say the Steeda pipe is one of the best aftermarket pipes they’ve seen come through their shop, usually they see a lot of aluminized steel or 409 with questionable welds and they end up making their own for the customer.

Sorry for the wordy write up, usually not my style. Enjoy your Saturday everyone!

So far today: flushed my brakes and changed Motorcraft out for Motul 660. The motorcraft fluid was gross - it looked there were chunks of snot/saliva in it.

Bled the brakes and now the fluid is more clear than dehydrated urine yellow. Absolutely zero air bubbles.

off to Home Depot to grab some angled needle nose pliers (lost mine) to finish installing my McLeod stainless clutch line with AN fittings. Then back home to bleed the clutch, and off to burn in my rear street pads (dust control) and give the car a good clean. Tomorrow paint correction and ceramic coating my wheels

Out with the old and in with the new!
Car definetly feels much more planted. Just going into and out of my driveway over the rain gutter, I can tell the car is tied together. No twisting. Steeda stop the hop kit with g track brace and sub frame connectors feels great. Zero body roll. The power is actually much smoother. Steeda dual rate magnaride springs delivered exactly the .5” drop as advertised. Between the 1 piece CF driveshaft and all the subframe connects hard accelleration is less violent and more just in a predictable straight line. The MGW is going to take some getting used to but it’s definetly much more precise and shorter that the factory shifter. Sound is amazing. I didn’t get much over 5k RPMs on my first drive today but in sport+ mode it’s pretty loud in a very good way. Nice filling it up today for $37 (13 gallons) and getting 105 octane. More follow up tomorrow, as it was 97 degrees and neither the car nor I appreciate those temps.

Did you clock the bushings on the suspension with the cars weight on the ground? After doing that and about 2 weeks - my car dropped a bit more

So far I love it! Seems to keep the deeper stock tone but still gets rowdy in the higher RPM’s. I was really debating on whether to get an X pipe and sell the H but I think I made the right choice with the H. I like the stock tone, just wasn’t loud enough for me
