Took my best friend and his missus out for a drive. He was in the back. This is the carnage he left me with. World has ended. Game over. Initiate meltdown. Dear god think of the children. :cwl:

So it gave me a good excuse to clean the interior. Quick vacuum, leather conditioned the seats (Gliptone conditioner), plastics wiped down (Meguiars supreme shine with Scotchgard), glass cleaned (Stoner invisible glass), and carpet spritzed with freshner (Autoglym autofresh).

It seems he also switched your manual for an automatic when you weren't looking 🤔

10 speed for the win! My last S550 (2016 reg) was a manual. Hated it.

my courtesy car is the A10, can't wait to get my manual (2017) back! If we all liked the same eh 🤣
Haha well I've mostly always driven manuals and this is only the 3rd car I've owned that is an auto (previous to that was the Polo GTi and AMG A35). Polo was awful but A35 was sublime. I've had about 12 cars over the years. So I know what a "good" (subjective) manual feels like (to me personally) and my '16 GT was not one of them. Although it was much improved once you got rid of all that horrible slack in the shifter. I was sadly put off by an issue with it not engaging 2nd - 3rd cleanly. Would always slightly crunch even with the clutch engaged. Like it was out of sync so I figured I've give the auto a try. But yes, life would be boring if we all liked the same thing and I'm sure your manual is the best one ever!! 😁

haha i won't say it's the best but the 350Z i had was the worst manual box i've ever driven. Just want my GT back, then either love it or list it. See how the reunion goes lol

Looks great - what did you polish it with?
Thank you :like:

Scratch’s come out of the FP knob quite quickly with 2000’s wet n dry paper.

Meguiars Scratch x (by hand on a microfibre) also suits the FP knob and makes reasonably quick work of the marks left by the 2000 :like:

Jergens no doubt....
I had to look that up, it’s not a make we get over here … lol

Decided I'm not cut out for air suspension. The adjustability is fantastic, and very helpful getting into my driveway, but my compressors have already frozen twice and I've only had it installed since October. So a bit more of a headache than I want to deal with for my mostly daily driven street parked Mustang.

So I bought some Bilstein B6 struts and shocks, Steeda Ultralite lowering springs, M3 bumpstops (shoutout to @Roadway 5.0 even tho he doesn't come around anymore). Already have some camber plates and a bumpsteer kit, may pick up a roll center kit if anyone feels strongly like I should.

If anyone knows anyone who wants an air suspension kit, send em this way. I'll have 2 full kits for sale likely soon.

Is it naughty of me to wear it driving my GT
VERY! Even more fun when it's N4G and an ecoboost. I think I'm gonna have to post a pic of my car with licensed/official Shelby wheels made in Chyna. And maybe shod with Cheng Shin tires.

OK ok, I'll use proper tires...
