Thank you!!! This is 1000% what I was hoping for. Curious if quiets a little more after few thousand miles on her.
Dunno, but I'll be happy to re-up another vid in a few months.

Yes, even with 3.73's. The biggest complaint when the D4's came out was the Gen 3 coyotes have 25 more hp than the gen 2's but they were no faster 0-60 because of the long gearing in the trans. It's like comparing a close ratio 4 speed to a wide ratio. Some who have an 18 with the D4 have switched to the earlier version to get the close ratio coupled with a gen 3 engine, it's the best of both worlds. But if you have a rev matching D4 then you are SOL
Yeah, the 19+ seem to be a pain. I did likely improve my 0-60 recently, though.

Actually, once you go boosted, the D4 is preferred for the wide ratios. The close ratio 11-17's are useless in 1st thru 3rd, they just spin from all the torque.

My 17 is boosted And the trans ratios are great. I have a 3.31 axle ratio. The 3.73 cars might have a bit more trouble but the actual trans ratios in most cases are very nice with boost.

You get used to the noise to the point where I barely notice it sometimes. I’ve had my stage 3 for about 8k mi. I don’t think it really quiets down. It’s not as loud as everyone thinks it is, well at least I don’t think so but then again my corsas kind of masks over everything.

I plan on a calimer stg 3 when mine blows, maybe before, not sure. My car will have a decent amount of sound deadening in it by then including under the carpet. I need to add some under the rear seats as I can hear my 274 fuel pumps on my fore fuel system. Alejandro flores posted a youtube video on a 19gt vortech supercharged with a calimer stg 3 with a mcleod rxt clutch, I think the stage 3 uses a different spline output shaft so regular mt82 clutches can't be used.

You can choose between a 23 spline or 26 spline. Stock mt82 is 23 spline.

I just ordered my d4 stage 3. How is your guys stage 3 holding up? I spoke with Ben and he suggested the lethal lpxhd paired with it. Hoping it holds everything like advertised.

Can you please post detailed pics of your Stage 3 when you get it, with an emphasis on the inside of the bellhousing? There’s one guy on YT that broke 6th gear in his Stage 3. He took it back and they repaired it for another $1K. He said he has never liked it.

Getting ready to have it dynoed within the next couple weeks. Just installed a triple pump return system. I don’t want to go beyond 1000whp.
LPXHD was a good clutch driving around town doing street stuff.
Once I took it to the track....very different story
and my car is about 760-800hp

Did it not withstand the launches at the drag strip?

Please expand for those of us with similar power levels and who also will be needing a new clutch eventually.
