Been a little pre-occupied providing an update here. Picked up #3988 on Sat 10/29 at Chapman. Everything went pretty smoothly, no add ons, switching or forgetting the price protection. I made a small mistake not communicating clearly with the sales rep but it quickly resolved in about a half hour otherwise the process would have been an hour tops.

Initial impressions - coming from a SLA 2014 with several suspension and handling upgrades, I am completely impressed by the abilities of this car! I havent really pushed it at all but the confidence behind the wheel is amazing. Point it where you want and it goes without hesitation.
The brakes actually felt a little grabby but then I realized they were just that good!
One issue I am having is in/out of the driveway. Front splitter hits, so I had to employ some plywood at the base of the driveway until I can figure a better solution.
The tires are rock magnets! The main road to my development was being torn up all week and sadly I had to drive through the rough to get home, leaving at least 3 small chips in the paint already :crying:

Time for touch up paint, cleaning & PPF, winter storage, then Whipple, headers, suspension.

If anyone is looking to get one instead of waiting more, the re-order I placed 2/17/2022 has been built as of yesterday.

It will be at Chapman once it is delivered. I'll be reaching out to them to let them know that I won't be taking ownership of the order - I bought the same exact build from Granger in August.

700A, Handling Package, Elite Package, Appearance Package - Fighter Jet Gray, Manual

All the best to those still waiting on their 2022s.
Same situation here. My Chapman order should arrive there between the 10th and 16th.

My Mach 1 was delivered to my house today, N3785. The car looks amazing, and I'm extremely happy I went with Race Red. It really is a stunning color with the Mach 1 livery, and badges. After transferring insurance from my GT PP1 to my Mach 1, I took it out for a spin, and man it handles like a dream. The turns are precise, and sharp while still being comfortable due to the magnaride suspension, and those Cup 2's man, what grip. I honestly didn't feel any tramlining, but I will switch to PS4S after they wear out since Cup 2s are quite expensive. I also love the Recaros, they are perfect for me, slightly snug, but holds you in place and still comfortable. The difference between the GT and the Mach 1 are night and day, and anyone who's still waiting on a Mach 1, be patient if you can help it cause you will LOVE the car.

race tire problems!

switching mine out this Friday.

i thought i would be bumping that front lower splitter on my drive and all the AZ drainways that run across residential streets, but nope. slow speeds and proper approach are helping me there.

thank you. I wish I would have had them put on at Chapman! two-three chips on the passenger side and at least one on the drivers, less than 200 miles.

I know the feeling... I have several front bumper/hood chips (DC area is a car killer) and several on the rear panels

can the "mud flap" part be installed without the side skirt piece and still be effective? not really of fan of sticking out more plastic on the sides there.
yeah they can be ordered separate without the side skirt extension

I used the California Pony splash shields (front only) on my GT350 and really liked the fit/look (GT350 model splash guards)...

here is a link to the cali pony splash shields that should fit the mach 1 as another option to the ZL1 ones already linked above:

Quick question for you guys…..I notice almost every HP car photo in this thread has little wheel arches over the front wheels….mine came without them. Are they supposed to be installed by the dealer like the splitter?

The pre-delivery prep by my dealer was a little shaky, so I’m curious if that was something they missed?

Should have arrived at the dealers parts department in a separate box. They should have installed them. They are called front wheel lip moldings.
