Order one through Ourisman ASAP. There won't be a Mach 1 in 2023, unfortunately. You'll regret it if you don't place the order, and it's the best way to get your Mach 1 at/below MSRP. You can always decline it if the car gets built, or you find one before then.So now I debate whether to order one "at the last minute" or hope the bottom falls out of the used M1 market in the next 60 days.
How much do you think it costs to have the shaker installed vs the GT500 hood, assuming you have decals cut to fit etc? I know the hood and shaker each cost like $1,500ish last I checked, but no idea what installation would run.I'd get a GT500 hood before a shaker.
The GT500 hood will be more expensive. Paint / Fitment / Repairs / Decal. Probably looking at $2000+How much do you think it costs to have the shaker installed vs the GT500 hood, assuming you have decals cut to fit etc? I like the look of both but I'd probably also vote GT500 hood—it just fits the lines of the car better. Although admittedly I also love a good shaker...
Yeah, really. What have you got to lose?Order one through Ourisman ASAP. There won't be a Mach 1 in 2023, unfortunately. the 500 hood is sweet for sure, but the shaker is more in line with the Mach 1 historyHow much do you think it costs to have the shaker installed vs the GT500 hood, assuming you have decals cut to fit etc? Please don't get me started down this rabbit hole! The GT500 hood will be more expensive. Paint / Fitment / Repairs / Decal. Probably looking at $2000+
Yeah that's about what I figured. I think either would look good, but the GT500 hood just edges it out a bit for me. I'd be happy with either though.the 500 hood is sweet for sure, but the shaker is more in line with the Mach 1 history
but yeah, for sure the painting would drive the price up of going the 500 hood route
yup I’m the same, leaving exterior as is and just doing a few minor interior changes. nothing major, the Mach 1 is solid as isYeah that's about what I figured. I think either would look good, but the GT500 hood just edges it out a bit for me. I'd be happy with either though.
I'm probably not going to bother with exterior mods (unless decals get damaged somehow, in which case they will be coming off). If I spend money on any mods then it'll likely be for the interior — I plan on leaving this thing stock when I get it.
I don't recall who I've seen post photos of it but I have seen 2 people on these forums outfit a GT500 hood on their Mach 1's.Please don't get me started down this rabbit hole!
That's what happened on my '17 GT.
Just need the GT350 spoiler...then exhaust and rear valance...then body kit...
Does a GT500 hood fit?
A OEM GT350 hood didn't fit on a regular GT.
I like the M1 as it is.
I know I would have added all the Handling Pack bits if I didn't get the HP, so I just ordered it like that.
I think I'm good. Uh, ok, maybe mats, but that's it!
And, well, maybe the GT350 gauge cluster. Dang. I don't even have my car yet.
I think this may need to be replaced as it looks more like it is THROUGH the top part of the stripe that gives it the non gloss effect and original matte finishquestion... noticed the vinyl has a few glossy spots on it, not super noticeable in normal light but at the right angle they stand out
thought that giving it a good wash and all would take care of it, but they are still there. any thoughts on cause and how to remove?
